Let's keep this going through Sunday's game, to track final seeds.
Here's what we know as of 3:45 EST.
St. Louis is the 1 seed.
La Salle is the 3 or 4 seed.
URI, Fordham, and Duquesne are out.
...UMass is up 5 on URI with 3 minutes left. A UMass win helps us, provided Xavier loses to Butler this evening.
Dayton had a 3 point lead on GW. A loss eliminates GW.

Umass wins. They will be either the 6 or 7 seed, pending the Xavier-Butler game tonight.

Dayton and GW heading in to OT. GW needs a win to stay alive for Brooklyn.

GW wins by 1 in OT to stay alive. I have no idea how that affects the bottom of the bracket, but now it gets interesting.
Bonnies starting to pull away on Fordham late in the 1st. 3 other games later tonight.
With that...I am going to take a nap. Back later.

Pretty sure GW is in, with wins over Bona and Dayton. As long as Richmond doesn't lose to Duquesne, they're safe. GW beat Charlotte too, so if they lose to St. Joe's doesn't hurt the colonials. Assuming Bona wins and Richmond, it all hinges on the SJU - Charlotte game. If the Hawks win, Charlotte is out. If Charlotte wins, Dayton goes home.

The Bonnies will have 8 wins if they beat Fordham and Richmond will have 8 if they win at home against Duquesne. GW at 7-9 is in because they beat both Dayton and Charlotte. If Charlotte loses at home to Overbrook and finishes 7-9 they are out, having lost to both GW and Dayton. If Charlotte wins to finish 8-8, Dayton at 7-9 is out.
Forget [much of] the above --Bonnies spit the bit at home against Fordham to finish 7-9 and are 1-2 against Dayton, GW and Charlotte, having beaten the Niners. GW is 2-1, having beaten Charlotte and Dayton. Looks good for GW. The rest, your guess is as good as mine...

The Bonnies have lost. I'm not going to go nuts with scenarios becuase 3 hours from now most of it will be decided.
Duquense-Richmond at 6:00 Xavier-Butler at 6:30 Joe's-Charlotte at 7:00
Temple-VCU tomorrow.

If Charlotte loses to Overbrook, they're out, having gone 0-3 against GW, Dayton and the Bonnies. If Charlotte wins, the Bonnies are out -- deservedly so after losing at home to Fordham -- because the Bonnies went 0-2 vs. GW and Dayton. Fordham bailed out Dayton, who's now in with GW regardless of the Charlotte result.

I was thinking Dayton might be a tough out in Brooklyn. Today's loss to GW has me reconsidering. But GW needed the game more, and sometimes that's a huge factor.
So it's either Charlotte or Bonnies who will be out. Good to know. I guess we'll have 2 potential brackets as of about 9 o clock tonight.

Richmond is destroying Duquense. 1-15 for the Dukes this year. One of the worst A-10 teams I can remember.
Xavier with a 1 point lead on Butler with 2 minutes left in the half. Really need Butler to pull this one out.

We want/need Butler and VCU to win to lock up the 3 seed, correct?

That would give us the winner of UMass and possibly Dayton. But I'm done trying to figure this out until the Charlotte- Overbrook game is over.

The VCU-Temple game determines if we are the 3 or 4. If Butler beat Xavier, X would fall to the 7, meaning if we get the 3, we would probably play UMass. UMass is good, but they are clearly the next best team below the top 6 tier, at least in my opinion.
If Xavier wins, the 4-6 seeds will be Temple, Butler, and Xavier in some order. If we're playing a must win game, I'd rather it be against UMAss than any of those teams.

St. Joe's and Charlotte doing all they can to make this game unwatchable.

19 - 18 at the half. This is painful.

I'm watching a stream of questionable legality. We've been asked not to link to these things on the board.

Butler looked like they were pulling away- up 10. I went to do a few things, came back, and X was up 2. Tied now.

Butler won, so that helps. UMass will be the 6 seed. After this Charlotte- Joe's game, I'll have the full scenarios.

For how terrible we looked the last 13:32 of today's game - it could be worse, we could be St. Joe's. Lost 52-40 to a struggling Charlotte team. They only scored 40 points. What the heck is Martelli doing over there? Remember preseason #1 team in the A-10.

So if VCU beats Temple we will play UMass off a bye (barring no upset in the 1st rd). If you are a tournament team, that is a game you win. No excuses. If I recall correctly, we shot terribly that game and were down a dozen or so. We fought back and ended up losing by a point. This is a game we should win.
