Vegas believes St. Louis takes care of business. La Salle has to play fast tempo basketball for 40 minutes. They CANNOT allow St.Louis to slow the game down to a half court game. Fast break basketball and a live 3 ball can spell L-A S-A-L-L-E success.

The concern for me is their bigs. Lowe may eat us alive inside

The concern for me is their bigs. Lowe may eat us alive inside Lowe plays more on the perimeter than inside. I think Evans is the concern. I am worried about Jerrell's ability to control him.

Not 100% positive but I believe this was the line when we were at VCU.

Moneyline won't post until tomorrow morning. But I suspect it will be between +450 and +500
Moneyline for VCU was +550

To me that line says Vegas isn't expecting some huge bounce back out of SLU, otherwise we would be a double-digit dog
Our 4 guard lineup may give them fits defensively- if they have to go small we could pull it out. Key will be forcing them to make defensive adjustments and getting guys into foul trouble on their side

We were an underdog the last time we played a Top 25 team that lost the game before.

Not 100% positive but I believe this was the line when we were at VCU. Make that 62.5% -- the VCU line was 12...

Still a passing grade...

La Salle +7.5 St. Louis -7.5
La Salle +285 St. Louis -365
O/U 132
Seems like the spread says we're going to lose but they are worried and protecting themselves with that moneyline

SLU draws a lot of fouls...could become an issue for us. They're surprisingly not a great offensive rebounding team (probably because most of their bigs stay on the perimeter). Evans and the guards can operate inside pretty well, though. They also have a big (Remekun) who hardly plays for some reason, but is a great shotblocker and inside finisher. When I watch him play, I always think he'd be all A-10 on another team with more minutes...

This line is pretty far off from the KenPom projection of 68-63. I think Vegas realizes how crucial Steve Zack is in this matchup (or at least the sharps did)

ML now on +270
Public slightly favoring La Salle to keep this close.

If the line keeps dropping then we have a reverse line on our hands. Which means majority of the public is favoring Stl but larger amounts of money or the smart money is taking La Salle. Right now 51% of public on Stl

StL has been one of those teams of late that the BBall experts have been falling in love with. Tyically, when that happens, the team goes into a little bit of a slide. I see that happening here, especially after a tough road loss to X. The Bill have been playing flawless basketball for a long period of time. Its hard to keep that level of play consistently every single game. I see a bit of a letdown here for St. Louis, and the result could be similar to what we saw against VCU. We're in a good mental state right now, and the confidence is sky high. We're gonna come at them and I see a solid victory here. Go Temple!
