What conferences are there where we want 1 specific team to win the tournament, to ensure the league only gets 1 team in?

Pretty sure the conferences we need to worry about are:
OHIO VALLEY -- We want Belmont to win.
SUN BELT -- We want Middle Tennessee
MAC -- We want Akron
MISSOURI VALLEY -- Creighton or Wichita State
WEST COAST -- Gonzaga or St. Mary's
WAC -- LA Tech

I think we can also throw in Memphis in the CUSA.
If St. Mary's loses to anyone but Gonzaga they might be out.

CCSU and Villanova are the only nonconference opponents I have been watching. we needed their stock to be higher than they have been. Penn State can do nothing to help us. Northeastern or Delaware could win the CAA, but one of them will lose to the other one, cancelling out any gain in that conference. The CAA department that is not too exciting this year anyway.
CCSU is a 7 seed and will play the 2 seed. I really wanted them to get the 8 seed and play, perhaps even beat, Robert Morris for an RPI boost. As it stands now, they play at Wagner tomorrow, and the winner plays at LIU/Quinnipiac.
Let's see if Nova can make a little run in New York and boost our stock with another high quality win.

Hykos,
I wasn't talking about our RPI specifically, but less at-large bids being available if say a team like Belmont, who is in either way, loses their conference tournament, thus putting 2 Ohio Valley teams in the tournament instead of 1.

Rooting for favorites in lower conferences is a popular discussion in early March for bubble teams. I am just looking at it from a different angle, that we need certain underdogs like CCSU and Nova to bring it up a notch this week. I don't look at them as potentially stealing our bid, instead they might help in securing our seed. Realize, we should not have such a last four in/out problem unless we lose 2 of the next 3 here.

I'm acting under the assumption that winning 2 more games gets us in, no matter what. Because that means we've either gone 1-1 in the regular season and gotten to the A-10 semis, or gone 2-0 in the regular season, which would include a huge road win at St. Louis, and then gotten picked off in the Quarters.
All of this other stuff is about what happens if we only win 1 more game, in my opinion.
