We called the ticket office a week ago and they did not have anything planned. Getting tickets to these opening weekend games are easy, its getting to them that is difficult. Hopefully the school can charter a plane for the alummni. I have hotels booked already for driveable games.

I haven't booked any hotels yet but definitely surveyed the prices. The Explorer Club brochure states that donors of a certain level receive priority to purchase post season tickets.

Games start at noon and go as late as midnight each day. There are some played on Thursday and some on Friday, then the winners go in the 2nd full round (incorrectly referred to by most as the third round) on sat and sun.
Sunday is going to be a high fare day for airlines no matter where you are. Fortunately most cities played in are served by southwest.com which provides refundable fares, a key asset in elimination style tournaments. But even southwest is already blacking out some of its low fares on 3/24.
Thu/Sat games are in Detroit, Lexington, Salt Lake, and San Jose. Fri/Sun games are in Phila, Austin, Dayton, and KC.

Let's just play at Wells Fargo Center and make this whole process a hell of a lot easier..!

Why do the pods already have seeds assigned? it seems to make more sense to let the pods be determined as necessary by the local team. I understand Temple and La Salle can't play until the elite 8, but putting them in the same pod wouldn't be too much of a problem because we all know Dunph's record in the dance is usually one and done anyway.
