Yeah I don’t know why we needed to go here. I got off Twitter for Bluesky personally but it’s pretty obvious where this discussion will go.
To steer it back, I have no problem with people gambling, but I don’t understand why people think everyone else is interested in their stories. “Man, you’ll never believe this, I was winning my bet, and then I lost.”

It’s addiction at some level. They are betting on 11 am college basketball games between two lower tier mid major teams. They are not rational people.

Ah the irony of complaining about people commenting about gambling when we literally have a separate thread for every game geared toward gambling. And I personally enjoy lunatic's stories snd takes.

Yeah I’ve gambled since 6th grade when I started doing football pools. I love gambling, especially horses. Sure I can get pissed at a bad beat or something but I would never think about tweeting/DMing/venmo requesitng a team or player. I guess it’s the times we live in with all the access.
