Everytime we make a play we make a mistake. Worse game of the year. We really need to slow this game down… I am surprised that Fran has let this sloppiness continue late into the game without any substitution/tongue lashing.. just letting them go out there and repeat the same mistakes |

A lot of one on one dribbling till clock ru s down Yes extremely disappointing by coaching staff that they have not curbed this… This has been a consistent issue with the team the last couple of years… It is not like they are trying to iso to an advantaged 1 on 1 matchup.. It is just really non threatening passing and dribbling and wasting shot clock and then throwing random stuff up |

Too much hero ball by our guards. Hmmm... I seem to remember discussing this issue recently and warned that this could cause some problems in the future if not corrected.. But then some poster's safe spaces were being violated, and they complained that we were winning, so we weren't allowed to voice concerns as they popped up... Games like this are exactly why I harp on it repeatedly. This should have been an easy win against a poor opponent in a shit tournament, and now we are going to battle in the loser's bracket. This was an avoidable result, outside of 5-6 minutes; we played 35 minutes of Star ball, which created no offensive rhythm, generated a ton of poor shots, a lot of turnovers, and a lot of good scoring opportunities for UCSD (that even they struggled to convert)... The criticism is out of love and wanting the best basketball played, allowing for the highest chances of winning.. Exactly to avoid what just happened the last 3 hours. |
