Was a great evening in the renovated attic. Many improvements to be happy about! For any yearning for some Tom Gola arena nostalgia, as discussed, the bathrooms will take you back quickly š.
Quick observations:
McKeithan: really impressed me. Love his tenacious defense on the ball, he appears to have been a great pickup. Kid can score both from the perimeter and getting to the basket. Lilley: loved his aggressiveness and his post moves. Played his ass off. Deuce: worked off his first game jitters and showed some flashes of a really good guard. Looking forward to him developing and getting more comfortable. Kid is tough and really plays tough defense. White: really impressed.
All in all, based on one game I think this team has the potential to be pretty good and better than last years team. I was really surprised at how well they seemed to have gelled and surpassed my expectations, kudos to Dunph!
Thank you to the administration for getting this done!

Just me, or is every camera uneven? Hopefully something that can be resolved for next game. Yes it was uneven, not sure why. Audio also went out for an extended period of time on the feed. Hopefully they can straighten it out. The arena looks good on tv though.

Didnāt watch the entire game , but the few times I was tuned in I noticed a lot of one on one basketball and not much sharing of the rock. 7 assists on 23 made baskets is disappointing. Who is going to be the player that gets other people involved - imo that is where Brickus and Brantley will be most missed

I may have missed it but I saw a write up of every team in Phila who played last night except our game against American.

Mac Etiene has real good hands.I like his play thus far. it it was hockey, mac would have gotten third star after jahlil and corey. love that both of our bigs are aggressive and have great hands.

Arena looks so much better itās incredible. Kale also just said Acker would be eligible at end of first semester. if that's the case, his first game will be against north carolina. he'll miss 10 games.

Deuce is like a wild pony right now. Needs to harness his adrenaline. deuce will be fine. too much adrenaline. i thought he played well down the stretch. same thing happened with demetrius. he played well overall but he started forcing things a bit. between injuries and a coaching change, he never really got a chance at penn state and it looked like he was trying to make up for lost time. once he lets the game come to him, he will really help.

I noticed that last night at the end of the game. I mentioned it to my buddy that I was at the game with. It was definitely a classy move on Andreas' part. Andreas came over and they had a long chat and then a long, heartfelt hug. It was nice to see.

I had Corey with the biggest game impact and then White. Will look forward to what they can do with Acker on board.
White and Mac will be a good combo at 5.
Next men up will be who shines most among
Shep (quiet but efficient against AU) Tunde (solid but not dominant game against Patriot competition) Andres (didn't get much ball separation and needs to improve there and on 1-7 shooting) Deuce (really quick but needs to play in a more controlled/disciplined way)
Zan looks to be 5-7 minute role player at best; hope I am wrong here.
Key will be chemistry and effectiveness against A10 level talent. Good early tests with TU, UNC, tourneys.

I heard that Zan was sick all day, which I presume is why his performance suffered and his on-court time was limited. I was also told that the wifi outage definitely limited the ability to post the in-game stats on the scoreboards.

It was a nice, first game, and looked like the first game for both teams.
We look a lot bigger than we have been in some time.
I enjoyed the halftime video of the tour of the new facility.
