I am not sure about this account. He often speaks vaguely and it probably on purpose but this is the first I am hearing about this. Can anyone confirm it?
Tom Gola 2.0 @tg2point0 · 21h For La Salle I'm going to start out with some of the bad news, there are some health and availability concerns. Specifically, there is one transfer who has an eligibility issue they will leave him out for a portion of the non-con. Helpfully, it's just a handful of games.
Tom Gola 2.0 @tg2point0 · 21h Now I haven't been able to get a definitive answer on why or exactly how long this transfer is out. It sounds like it's an ongoing battle that will be x amount of non-con games. I'm sure the program will confirm it soon but expect some news on that front.

Super confusing account. Often in the know, but as you state, also often unhelpfully either cryptic or enthusiastic.

Is guessing the transfer referred to above as easy as saying "they mentioned almost every transfer in the subsequent posts"?

unfortunately i think this has legs. he does tweet a lot of garbage out seeing what sticks but after reading his recent tweets, he made it a point to mention he got the info from an alum(s) close to the program.
pure speculation but i can't help but wonder if maybe this is connected to the temple situation and is impacting jahlil white. i also recall seeing some speculation (can't remember whether it was here or somewhere else) that eric acker may have an eligibility issue. i can't find any posts on this board about that but i could swear i read it here.
as far as injuries go, lucas will be out at least another couple weeks and jorge's arm was in a sling recently but not sure how long he'll be sidelined. regardless, there's at least some depth this year to help withstand not having one of the transfers for part of the ooc schedule.
it's always something being a la salle fan.

some additional thoughts about this.
if it's jahlil, we are in decent shape with shep, tunde and ryan being able to eat up his minutes.
if it's eric, then that means more minutes for corey and deuce. call me crazy but i expect both of these guys to be ready to come in and have a meaningful impact. for people who worry about deuce being a freshman, he is every bit as highly rated as x brown was for st joe's (pa) last season and look what he did. i've seen numerous freshman guards over the years come in and contribute right away.

Just speculation but the other possible eligibility problem may be Mac. He is a 2x transfer entering his 5th year of college. Not sure if he comes in as a grad transfer in which case he would have had to graduate from DePaul. Transfer credits are often an issue when coming from multiple schools so his progress toward graduation may also be an issue. In addition he and Lucas were the only two not wearing a practice jersey at the practice last Monday during the Meet your Seat event. It is also possible that they are treating him like Embiid and managing his full participation in practice. Love to speculate based on absolutely no concrete information.

That guy might post here but I don't think many of the tweets are backed up by complete truth.

Broadcast said Acker is out for the first 6 games. That would make him eligible for the last game of the Boardwalk Battle and just in time for the Temple game.

Eric Acker will make his La Salle debut on December 7th he tells me
Acker averaged 12.8 PPG, 3.7 RPG, and 3.8 APG as the youngest player in college basketball last year
Acker still 18 years old will have a chance to be a key option for La Salle this season as potentially their starting PG
