So did we win the scrimmage or get beaten badly? It would certainly change the calculus of us being a potential 15th place team.
I saw that St. Joes beat Providence, so these things get out into the public.
****in 2016, when we went 9-22, the pre- curser to that season was losing to Philly U in the exhibition game. I knew things were going to be bad right after that result.

Jahlil White had 22 to lead the Explorers apparently. If Jahlil White scores 22 points in a scrimmage, but the scrimmage doesn't actually happen, he has to be asking himself "Did I Do That? .................I'll see myself out. 2024 Post of the Year. I'm actually just commenting to bump this up to the top of page 2 so it doesn't get buried at the bottom of page 1.

Speaking of scrimmages, will there be a blue-gold scrimmage like they usually do?

I knew things were going to be bad right after that result. There's way too much emphasis placed by some on secret scrimmages and trying to draw meaning from them. Coaches are tweaking lineups, giving different players more time, not fully showing their hands, etc. I saw an article that for the VCU/UVa one, UVa had several of their top players not play.

Biggest win since 2013.
But it's sort of like having a great morning dump that you can't tell anyone about.

Seton Hall within their conference is in a very similar situation to La Salle. They probably have the least amount of NIL in the Big East. They struggled to score WITH Kadary Richmond and he bounces to St John’s for an NIL payday. They have an on campus arena that they use for a practice facility. Haven’t been there in ages, not sure how improved it is. They play off campus at the Prudential - fortunately the Glaser gives us a slight edge there.
And it all sucks because Shaheen is an alum who cares deeply about the school and is a helluva coach. Same as Dunphy. Small Catholic schools too

To this day, I don't see a foul. What a screwjob.
