John Giannini retires as Rowan AD. Congrats to him. Such a great human being if anyone has had the chance to really know him. One of a kind. Rowan Athletics @rowanathletics Director of Athletics John Giannini Announces Retirement

He was a great representative for La Salle. I hope he continues to be an analyst. Great knowledge of the game and always well prepared.

Criminally underappreciated during his tenure here. Easily the best part of the La Salle program in my ... 29(?) ... years of caring.

Criminally underappreciated during his tenure here. I'll cop to this. In hindsight, he was an excellent coach who oversaw a good tenure in a rocky climate. For periods, he cruised due to his oversight's indifference. I hope he calls games still. He's really good at it.

Young enough to still coach if he wants it...

Connected with Coach today. He is still planning on doing commentary/analyst jobs, he is just retiring from the Rowan position.

Great guy and saved the program when it was at its lowest. Got us relevant and a Sweet 16 run. Can’t ask for more than that.
