The Big 5 classic will be played at Wells Fargo on December 7th. The pods are the same with us playing Drexel away and Temple at home. I wonder if we'll try to schedule Temple as our opener at Glaser. Going to be tough at this point to schedule a "name" for the opener but opening the arena with Temple should create some interest.

Disappointing to possibly miss out on playing Nova again, hopefully the pods rotate ever two years. Once again this will be on Conference Championship Saturday for College Football. I doubt La Salle cares about the opponent in the home opener since they tend to draw well in it anyways, so I'd save the Temple game for another day anyways although it would be cool to open with that one.

Yeah they should absolutely schedule the most winnable game possible in the opener. Game should draw well regardless, you want to start on a win for both karma reasons and to avoid the "new building, same old La Salle" stuff.

I loved the new format last year. Though I wouldn't mind seeing a better tie-breaker format. 3 teams potentially going 1-1 in a pod isn't satisfying.

Unless we play the Knicks, not sure how valuable it is anyway.
