Just messing around I asked AI to compare our first half and 2nd half key stats from last season and was given the following-
Shooting Percentages:
2-Point Shooting:
First Half: La Salle made 43.0% of their 2-point attempts.
Second Half: La Salle made 44.6% of their 2-point attempts.
3-Point Shooting:
First Half: La Salle had a 3-point shooting percentage of 34.6%.
Second Half: La Salle had a 3-point shooting percentage of 35.2%.
Team Rebounding:
First Half: La Salle averaged 34.6 rebounds per game.
Second Half: La Salle averaged 37.4 rebounds per game.
Overall, La Salle improved their shooting percentages in the second half and also increased their team rebounding.
A reflection of Dunphy's coaching ability I believe- we saw the team get better.
I remember Mid season last year I was giving up, actually believing we were the worst team in the A10. I certainly questioned whether we really had the necessary A10 talent to truly compete. I think an argument can certainly be made that the talent was deficient but guys turned around their quality of play and we dug ourselves out of the bottom which made the end of the season quite enjoyable.
