Highly touted out of Wildwood. Fell out of favor last year. Doesn’t shoot threes. Less than one per game and I think he only made one last year. Will be better to play fast with him.

Will be beter to play fast with him. he's a taller, longer version of anwar. rebounds and finishes better and plays 15 feet and in. very athletic. he will help.

Yeah I’d consider Anwar a wing though and White isn’t a wing I don’t think. Trying to find out from some Temple people why he stopped starting and played less.

He’s the best big La Salle has had in what…8 years? he's not a big. he's an athletic wing who rebounds, finishes and defends well who has had nagging injuries for much of his career. if you watched any of temple's run to the aac finals, you'd be pretty happy he's coming here. struggles from the perimeter but he understands that and instead plays to his strengths. he will not be taking many threes unless our staff helps him improve between now and the start of the season.

Don’t understand why you want to diminish it. I don't like the transferring within the big 5, but it's whatever. The coaches don't care to play the round robin, we're bending the knee at an NIT, barely 500 program in Nova, welcome aboard, Jah! I guess the game is the game.

Wings that don’t shoot are a rare breed these days, but I do like his length and athleticism. Who’s a good La Salle comp?

I’m definitely an analytics guy but anyone who Dunphy wants to bring in you have to trust he seems something. It’s weird with all the Big 5 movement but seems best for all involved. Hopefully White can take his game to next level here.
Washington St 247 message board has an apparently prominent poster saying they have Brantley in the fold. Anyone heard otherwise? These things can change even if they seem done.

Mik, I hear you. I don't want to hear about a Big 5 brotherhood ever again. We're basically just 5-6 competing schools, competing for recruits and now poaching players. Dunph coached at Temple for 15 years and still poached. Nobody gives a shit. I guess we either watch and root, or we find other things to do with our time. ***I'm not mad at you mik, or 23, or Explorerman, you guys are all 2nd cousins. I just don't like the game anymore. All that being said, I hope Jah comes here and averages 20. It just feels yucky.

Alright guys… Now we see the person that does not need to transfer far.. Literally down the road
White is going to eat a lot of minutes next year… Good finisher in the paint and obviously not a perimeter threat.. I think you are going to have trust Dunphy with this one..
Obviously my reference to giving Joe a virtual hug was because this guy doesn’t shoot threes..
He will help we missed a guard like that last yeat

Lunatic, who wins if Villanova “does the right thing” and doesn’t take Brickus? They get a kid who helps them, he gets to move way up, get paid and stay close to home.

I think the staff is doing all they can in a very tough market with limited resources versus football and BE teams. Proud of them.
Not like Dunph isn’t hustling.

Great pickup for us and a nice replacement for Anwar Gill. He was balling in the AAC conference tournament. Now we need a big to replace Jocius and hopefully Brantley stay with us next year. Keep up the good work Coach Fran.

Well, he is definitely an upgrade over Gill, but the question is what the lineup looks like. You really need 3 proficient perimeter shooters on the court at all times. Ideally, if you are playing a 4-out spread, you need 4 shooters (or even 5). We know what White is, and that is a slasher, bully drive to the paint and finish.

If Corey, Deuce and Acker can drive into the paint, it will create scoring options for Shep, White and Lilley. Tunde or Andres can be a 3 option but I don’t see them on the floor at same time and don’t see a four out set
