Messing around with some year-by-year La Salle hoops data and noticed that 2023-24 was the first season on record for which we averaged fewer than 10 turnovers per game. Taking care of the ball like this has long been a Dunphy calling card. The school has tracked this stat since 1982-83. The previous low was 10.1 in 1987-88 (Dunph's final season as an assistant under Speedy) when we had 2 of the greatest point guards in school history on the roster, as well as two other long-time pros in Lionel and Legler. Anyhow, just thought it was interesting. Jig is really special at the controls and KB takes good care of the ball, as well, though some of his shots maybe should count as turnovers.
