Really concerned that coaches prioritizing prestige programs and money over loyalty and sticking out their commitments might ruin college sports.

Coaches have been jumping ship for years. It’s going to become more prevalent as coaches know they’ll only be successful where a program has the prestige and pockets to reduce the amount of effort required to not just recruit new players but to keep their own as well.

Indiana State was reportedly offering a raise to 800k. St Louis paid Ford something like 2.2 million. Scherz is tripling his income
Plus if he does really well he can parlay St Louis into a Louisville type job (he was mentioned for them but probably as like their 10th choice). Unless you get to the Final 4 from ISU tough to parlay ISU into a Louisville (top 20) type job

The expectation is that he will retire after the NCAA Tournament.

I love how people still talk shit on this like we haven't now played 29 seasons in the A-10 with exactly one (1) coach who ever had us above .500 (in-conference or overall).
