Now that the brackets are out…
Anyone heading to any of the games? I’ll be wearing my La Salle gear up in Brooklyn this upcoming weekend, dishing out compliments to anyone who can recognize our school.
Still a bucket list of mine to hit up Dayton for the first four (before it becomes a 128 team tournament).

I have to admit, I'm a little surprised that the committee slotted Dayton higher than a league champion (Duquesne).
Especially since Dayton lost its first (and only) A-10 Tournament game to Duquesne.
I know the NCAA makes up its own rules for qualifying for the tournament every year, but that seems a little strange. Winning a league should carry a lot more weight.

- Huge year for the A10 only getting one less team in than the Big East  - Mountain West gets more teams in than the ACC or Big East - Surprised they didn’t put St. Peter’s, or Wagner if they win, in NYC - A10 gets 4 into the NIT: Richmond, Loyola, VCU, and St. Joes |

Winning a league should carry a lot more weight. it's all about the net. dayton was ranked 23rd in the net, went 3-4 against quad 1 teams, 5-3 against quad 2 teams and 16-0 against quad 3 and 4 teams. duquesne's resume doesn't come anywhere close. |

I'm happy Duquesne won. The A 10 needs to regain some cred nationally and doesn't La Salle get some piece of the money earned by both Duquesne and Dayton?

I think if I had to name my second least favorite A-10 team, it would be Dayton, but I'm not even sure if I know why.
