Tough loss but we just didn’t play smart late in this game and that includes the final play.

Real tough way to end the season, but I give the team credit. They fought back and played hard.

USA sports network Game announcers Paul Burmese and Tim McCormick were / are excellent. How do you figure, good announcers aren't biased. Anything about the bonnies was we we we. Not good

That’s ballgame. Brickus has to know that’s gonna get called. Can’t be called at that point in the game. Didn’t extend the arm. Thought that call was a joke.

Heartbreaking way for the season to end but program is in better shape than last year on and off the court. I’m really interested to see who comes back and if La Salle can get a defensive big to help out.

That cut the heart right out of my chest.
I thought it went in at first - we were watching from the dining room finishing dinner.
My wife still made me help her clear the table in spite of my agony. 😉

Tough loss but they showed a lot of fight. More than I can say about how our season ended in past years. FYI, I thought Jocius was fouled on his dunk when La Salle cut SBU's lead to two with less than a minute left.

Tough loss but we just didn’t play smart late in this game and that includes the final play. Maybe one (smarter) play short of victory. Great second half effort guys competed and finished in ways I never expected at mid season we would. If Dunphy can raise the talent level I am optimistic.

Effort almost never in question and Dunphy is the reason we are competitive. He is a terrific coach. We need more talent and we most likely lose a bunch of Players like most programs now. Overall we took a step forward as a program this year. Tough way to go out though.

Agh. Not a fun way to lose. A few more mistakes than them in final minutes for sure. However, too easy to ignore all the sloppiness in the first half and focus just on the end.
Happy they battled back the way they did. Had a lot of fun watching the team this year. I really hope we get these guys to run it back next year with a few new editions in certain spots.

And Billy Lange made it to Thursday. Double womp womp.
16-17. Right smack dab in middle of the range most of us pegged at the start. .500+ finish was there for the taking. It was clear since at least December we didn’t have a deep or tall enough rotation to finish better than this. Let’s see what the team looks like in November in the Glaser Arena. Looking forward to it!

I wanted to Zapruder the tape on the foul by Gill on the 3-pointer. Changed the game for me, and I didn't think he touched him.

Play in game and lack of depth took a toll, obvious, ashame Marrero couldn't spell our guards ! Love La Salle Basketball. God willing, next year!

We have someone on here who is a master of analyzing and posting screenshots of 3's. Kudos for the second Explorer Town "Zapruder reference" this season. This is the value of a liberal arts education.

Posted screenshots of “not” threes. La Salle averaged 1.31 points per three pointer tonight. 1.02 points per two pointer.

Posted screenshots of “not” threes. La Salle averaged 1.31 points per three pointer tonight. 1.02 points per two pointer. so a 28% premium (1.31 / 1.02) on a shot that should yield a 50% premium (3 / 2).

This loss is hard to swallow today. This game was winnable and we should won this game today. Congratulations to the Bonnie in their win, but the opportunity was there for us to win. Every 7 players that played in the two game played hard and never gave up. Brickus (18 points and 5 assists) played his heart out along with Brantley (10 points, 4 assists and 4 rebounds). This was the best two years of LaSalle basketball in a long time. I hope that Brickus and Gill stay with us for another year. If Brickus and Gill leave, thanks you for the great memories. This was a great season and let get ready for next season.
