Refs are starting to call ticky tack fouls. First on Jocius and then on the Richmond guard for a hand check.

I tuned in when we were up 23-18. Then got to watch Richmond outscore us 18-4 while we had turnover after turnover. Tough watch.

Let’s face it. We don’t have anyone in the program that is special in any facet of the game.
We are easy to defend once teams decide to play us tight. Can’t defend the perimeter and can’t defend the rim. No wonder we lose game after game against decent teams. Other than take care of the basketball which sometimes go of the rails, we don’t do anything well.
I keep hoping it changes but it never does. We need to change how we recruit. What we are doing isn’t working.

i'm really sick of a10 refs. richmond clutched and grab jhamir and khalil the entire first half and only get called for 5 fouls. la salle only goes to the line twice. on the other end, la salle gets called for 9 fouls, many of them ticky tack, and richmond goes to the line 8 times. they also got away with a couple straight arms which got them some extra baskets.
also watched saint louis get jobbed in the last couple minutes of their game against st joe's (pa).

Well we down by 9 36-27 against a good Richmond team. We play well for the first 13 minutes of the game. Brickus (10 pts) and Jocius (6 pts and 4 rebounds) playing well in the first half, but we have to stop turning the ball over. We turn the ball over 8 time in the first half. We playing better than the SLU game in the first half. We have to stop turning the ball over. If we do that we can win this game.
