Great article in the Inquirer about Coach Mihalich. Sorry I can't figure out how to cut and paste it for our posters. He is another example that class never goes out of style. I'm always proud to be a La Salle alum and reading about the relationship between Dunphy and Mihalich is a reminder of why I feel that pride.

Glad Dunph is here. I have seen him here in DE for funerals of his contemporaries. He is going to heaven. I ain’t gotta shot.

Now that I am lining up these names. I think Joe M’s wife is my primary care physician’s sister. Welcome to the Delaware Valley… just a couple degrees of separation.

glorydays : Not to mention the fact that La Salle conferred an honorary Doctor of Laws degree upon then - Executive Director of the City of Philadelphia's Planning Commission, architect Edmund N. Bacon ( father of actor Kevin Bacon ) at the annual fall honors convocation on October 22, 1967.

A further connection: I have had a crush on Kevin Bacon's wife, Kyra Sedgwick, for over a decade. Small world.
