With league play beginning tomorrow night, figured I'd put this up.

Double-header on CBS Sports tomorrow night. Dayton at Davidson and Bonnies at VCU - hoping to get home in time from our gam to catch the 2nd half of that one - thinking it will be a tight game.

Bonnies got a nice win on the road at VCU and looked strong in the 2nd half, up by 19 at one point. Their NET moved up solidly, but doubt they are in any sort of consideration for a 2nd A10 bid. Fordham also had a large NET gain, but it's somewhat meaningless. St. Joe's took a tumble with the Rhode Island loss. We dropped significantly with the loss, down to where we closed last season at 223. Team | NET Ranking | Dayton | 23 | St. Bonaventure | 58 | St. Joe's | 64 | George Mason | 66 | UMass | 82 | Duquesne | 84 | Richmond | 98 | VCU | 102 | Davidson | 127 | Loyola-Chicago | 146 | George Washington | 166 | Fordham | 192 | Rhode Island | 214 | La Salle | 223 | St. Louis | 231 |

Didn’t realize St Louis was that bad. Saw something that said Ford could be on the hot seat. That’s a really good job too

Didn’t realize St Louis was that bad. Saw something that said Ford could be on the hot seat. That’s a really good job too According to their public tax returns, Ford made $2.45M in FY ending 2022...3x more than the school's president

VCU has scary talent. If they develop chemistry among the 8 or so new players who joined this team, they could win the A10 tourney

All the games were close last night. I feel like every team not named Dayton or St Louis could end up 9-9.

Here's a head scratcher: Duquesne at home favored over Dayton on Friday night. Line opened at 1 and moved to 1.5.

Dayton's NET jumped to 18 after a road win at Duquesne. 10 game win streak right now with games against SLU and Rhode Island before coming to The Gola.

Fordham wins at the Bonnies.
St. Joe’s loses at home to Loyola. If Dunphy was coaching them they would be in the A-10 championship. They have a dilemma with Lange. He is underachieving and probably needs to be fired but if they do a lot of young talent is leaving there.

And you're right, Lange is clueless.

They are definitely underachieving in conference play. Wonder what Martelli could've done with this squad. Firing him was one of the biggest blunders in Hawk Hill history.
Rhode Island is the shocker for me right now sitting at 3-0 in conference play. I had that game as a win for us based on their OOC performance, but they handled UMass easily yesterday and seem to be hitting their stride. They have the Bonnies and Dayton next which will be good tests or them.

SLU is giving Dayton a game tonight. Dayton is struggling at the line a bit with Holmes well below his average ft%
