It depends on how you define "flying high" based on our schedule to date. I think the A10 will be a challenge regardless of OOC record unless one or both of Andres and Tunde can step up consistently in league play. Even with this, there are going to be challenges defending the rim. Pulling for Fran but am trying to be realistic here.

here's the msn link for anyone who can't get past the inquirer's paywall. www.msn.com/en-us/sports/other/picked-to-finish-last-la-salle-has-been-flying-high-through-its-non-conference-slate/ar-AA1m46Izalso, there were a couple other articles with these quotes from dunphy after the penn game about how he felt the team was going to be okay so this is nothing new. the author also screwed up by implying a big issue for la salle is turnovers and that they're one of the worst teams in the league as far as committing turnovers. it's actually the opposite. la salle is tied for second in the a10 and 25th in the country for fewest turnovers committed (9.8 per game). can't believe the writer got this wrong. i said this before, la salle's biggest issue going forward is up front. hopefully rokas is getting close to 100% healthwise because he is the key. and i know some people on here won't agree with me on this, but i thought milos looked solid against rosemont. i realize the level of competition he faced was poor, but the kid is a widebody and is not afraid to mix it up. looked like he had a decent touch too. if him and ryan zan can give the team quality spot minutes and rokas can get aggressive and figure out how to hold onto the ball, that will give this team a chance to win a fair share of a10 games.
