Wait 65% of their shots were threes and they won!!! 🍌 Lol. What happened to keeping the debate contained in one thread?

Women lose the A-10 tournament opener to UMass 54-49. A team they swept earlier in the season. AS the season progressed it got worse and worse for the program.
In any event, program put out of it's misery for this season.

Season over for us. We went from a 17 win from last year to 8 wins this season. The great regression this year, but next year will be better.

UMass fell 81 to 57 today to Duquesne. It's why I argue for the tournament to be reduced to 12 teams. The 13, 14 and 15 seeds in this league were not even able to break 60 in an elimination game. While it can be hard to beat a team three times in one season, we just lost to one of the 2 worst teams in the A10. There is a bad taste in my mouth after the way this season collapsed.

Looks like Coach Mountain has survived and will coach another year. I would guess he was given an additional year that extended his contact previously?
I saw he offered a scholarship to a girl from South Carolina yesterday.

Heard nothing but good things about head coach, but coming off an 8-22 record and given another year, would sure like to know La Salle's reasoning!

Simple human error or something more sinister ?While the NCAA did not provide details, one three-point line near the top of the key appeared to be about 6 inches closer to the basket than at the opposite end of the floor. Through five games, teams shooting on the end with the close three-point arc were 25.8% (23 of 89 ) on threes. At the end of the floor that was correct, teams shot 33.3% ( 29 of 87 ). The numbers showed that the players struggled with the line that was too close to the basket. The NCAA women's tournament court at the Moda Center in Portland had unequal three-point arcswww.inquirer.com/college-sports/ncaa-tournament-uneven-court-portland-women-20240331.html?
