The semifinal and the final will be playing at Butler University instead New York City at the Garden is crazy. Leave it at the Garden, it been traditional for a long time.

It was in Vegas area last year. It’s cost prohibitive to keep at MSG according to organizers. Fox threatened to start a new postseason tournament and undercut NIT so that’s probably the reason for NIT changes. |

If they're worried about CBI stealing their thunder, they should have gone to 40 bids instead of eliminating the 5 or so at large picks from the NIT. They also could have made the NIT into two champions, East and West, to regionalize it. Then have the East and West Champs play a preseason NIT game next year at Sprint Center or Chicago or something, to kick off the new season. There's just no creativity left shown from the NCAA anymore. They are ruining our favorite thing!!
