One more unless he gets a medical redshirt for his sophomore season (nine games)...then he'll have two.

Best of luck to him. If I had to guess, his move to the bench was due to inconsistency...when he was hot he was really good, when he was cold he was unplayable.

I expected this, he would be a great fit as a 6th man for some P5 programs if that is what he wants.

Great Team Player, High Energy, and played very well off the bench..But Marrero who should be able to step in and give us the same, if not more, production.

He basically said this was his last year at La Salle in an interview in the Inquirer earlier this season. He was perfect as a 6th man coming off the bench to give offensive energy. As John Wooden said, it isn't as important who starts the game as who finishes it.

Josh is graduating and will forever be a La Salle alum who contributed positively to the program.

i don't think so.  he's used up 3 years of eligibility (2019-20, 2021-22 and 2022-23).  2020-21 season doesn't count for anyone due to covid.  you only get 4 years of eligibility.

good luck to josh.  from what i could tell, he was a great teammate.  when he lost his starting job, he never pouted and cheered on his teammates even when he didn't play well or contribute as much.  he could be a nice piece as a sniper on a good team. i hope he finds a good fit.  if he changes his mind and decides to come back, that would work too.

Everybody that participated during that year got a bonus year. If he applies for a medical redshirt for the year prior to that and receives it, he could have two more. Depends on the nature of the injury.

I thought he found his niche as a spark off of the bench, especially since he won the "6th Man..." award.

have no knowledge of what he wants but I think he’d stay put in that scenario. If I had to guess, he’s thinking about his overseas opportunities and will want to try to catch fire on a team with more exposure.

Big number but not many great places to play or be coached at the places on Josh's list. Maybe we can offer a reasonable amount of cash to stay for a year.

I'd like to think Fran is looking at shooter transfers who have a wider skill set than Josh. He's on or off and the inconsistency in scoring from game to game is obvious. I don't think a Buzz Williams would freely send him back in for play after a few cold nights.

FSU finished the season with a NET of 221...2nd worst in the ACC, 2 better than our 223 finish. Not sure this is really a move "up", but probably getting paid more.
