Let's continue to rally behind this team. They have a chance to bring us another NCAA title. While Butler and VCU were happy making it to the Final 4, we are only satisfied with the Championship trophy. This is just the start to an exciting season.
Liacouras Center will be sold out Thursday. Make sure you have your tickets.

Ok, we officially have crazy talk.
This team is going to have a hard time even MAKING the tourney, let alone winning a game.
If by some miracle they make the dance and out if the first weekend I would entertain such fantasies.
Right now I still like L-ville for the title and of duke can get Ryan Kelly back they are prob the favorite.
Hard to argue with Indiana, they've got all the pieces - good guard play, a dominant center and a leg

Can't figure out how to edit my post
Indiana doesn't also have "a leg" the have a legit swing man.

I'm with you coachd. Aim HIGH.
This is a special team year, led by a special player in Galloway. Now is a better time than any.

Just think how awesome the Championship parade would be! We'd schedule the parade route to pass by the stadium complexes in South Philly and then SJU, Villanova, Penn and Temple campuses before having a huge celebration on our campus.
Galloway and Duren hoisting the championship trophy and then passing it on to Mills and then Zack and Wright and then Garland and DJP and Dunn. Then Doc G saying "College Frickin' Hoops Champions!"
That is what being a fan is all about!
Ghost of 1954.

Sweet16 parade is the best I could possibly forsee. I don't think we are going to win more games in a row than we ever have in 20yrs. Most Championship caliber teams are at least receiving votes right now. Let's not get off track. This is a very good team. No need to set the bar so high that nobody can touch it, coachd.

This thread is hilarious.
I'll trade these nutjob posts over politcal nutjob posts any day so I guess I'll deal with it.
0% chance the Liacourous is sold out Thursday. Newsflash people... Temple doesn't care about us even if we are temporarily looking down on them in the standings. I bet attendance is around 7-8k which is still really good for a weeknight game.

8,068 attended last year's tilt on a Wednesday @ Temple when Temple was having a much better season. We're not a draw for Temple fans but I think with it being a Thursday night more La Salle fans from last year will be in the building, but the overall attendance is probably no more than 7,000.
Temple fans can't stomach the fact that we could actually be better than them on the court despite their tax-payer fueled programs and facilities....sorry for the political angle but it's the #1 thing that bugs me about college sports. We do things by raising money for ourselves and aren't on an even playing field with public schools, so it's that much more rewarding to be better.

I think it will be 60-40 in favor of La Salle fans... Temple fans don't seem that motivated this year. We will treat this one like a home game.
Possible rollouts for Temple game - "Dunph, you could've coached your alma mater" "Good Luck in what is left in the BE"
