There are just so many players out there.. I mean you still had a wave of players enter just in the last 3 weeks. Something is going to have to be done about this because I do not know how any program is really supposed to be organized when you have this much movement in and out, this late.... It could be that this is just the new reality and rosters won't be settled until late May every year. NCAA might need to come and do something. What I have no idea. Move up the transfer deadline date a month, etc. That is someone smarter than I but something needs to get tweaked here and there. You not wrong about the players but that is not happening with other programs. I see other programs snatching players up left and right. Fordham just landed a double digit score from Georgia Tech and their coach was hired much later than ours. Again all that matters is who Dunphy gets but it is hard to not question why everything is moving so slow. that was a nice pickup for fordham but he was a role player at georgia tech, averaging 5 points and 3 rebounds a game. but i agree, there is next to no info out there about what's going on with la salle basketball. still no word on griffin's replacement which to me is a very critical hire. i do suspect this job has been filled but they're holding off formally announcing it for now, possibly for recruiting purposes? still no word on what brickus, brantley and doucoure are going to do. i really thought they had decided to stay based on them being at the presser but so much for that. and there's very little info on who dunph has been looking at in the portal or the high school, prep school and juco ranks. i've never seen anything like it.

La Salle has to start paying those players, just like the big boys. That's the only way they'll get real talent here.

Damn. Not good at all. With each passing day it gets more worrisome. Agree.. while La Salle offers a bigger pond to play in compared to Monmouth.. Monmouth is closer to their home the last couple of years and is the same conference so there is a degree of familiarity. The new entrant is not good sign, agree 88

The new entrant is not good sign, agree 88 monmouth is moving to the caa effective july 1st. la salle's advantage is that we're in a multi-bid conference. like the maac, the caa is a one bid league. still no response from andrew slater on who the third school is but something tells me it will end up being another a10 school which will aggravate me to no end.

We are a month into Dunphy's tenure. We have no 2nd in command on the bench, and we have a starting 5 that consists of 4 scholarship players and a walk-on. We have no facilities update. Yet somehow we've managed to already eclipse the season ticket sales of last season based on a call I received last night.
P.T. Barnum would be proud.

Maybe this is like when the Phillies opened CBP and you needed to be a season ticket holder at the Vet in order to make sure you qualified for the same honor at the new park.

Barnum would be proud. i pray that there is activity going on behind the scenes with all of these issues and that sometime soon, we'll get some good news. of the 1600+ kids that went into the portal, there are just under 1k non-committed kids in there as of yesterday. la salle is now three weeks away from the first summer session. you would think dunphy would want any transfers to be enrolled and on campus for that session so he can work with them and not have to wait until the second summer session that starts in late june. the second session is typically when the high school and prep school recruits show up on campus. i just can't believe that griffin's replacement hasn't been hired yet. i'm hoping there is an agreement in place but they're holding off the formal hire so this coach can recruit without the quiet and dead period recruiting restrictions that are in place during may. but i worry that it could be john gallagher which would explain why they're keeping it quiet for now. that would be a major, major letdown. gw is supposedly doing this with one of their assistants who is rumored to be a big time aau program director. i purposely held off from taking the early renewal discount because of this lack of transparency. something really needs to give soon.

Our coach is 73 years old. God Bless him but it seems everything is moving at the 73 old pace.

I don't think you have to worry about John Gallagher being hired, he would have left Hartford already. I think a few of us are still firm that Matt Brady is the assistant. Assuming it hasn't been announced for the reasons you mentioned. I think the only position still outstanding is the video coordinator.
Hopefully, we get some transfer news soon.

I doubt he'll play 40 minutes....pretty sure 3 or 4 other walkons will share time

Nice pick up for La Salle. I wonder if there is a chance they could stay two years (covid or regular red shirt)

Great pick-ups, even if just for name recognition. St. Peter's had a really nasty defense for most of the season, especially after they moved past their Covid outbreak They were great anchors on defense.
