Surprised he didn't leave last year. He's an A10 level player so this will hurt. Best of luck to him if he does, in fact, leave.

He hit a couple of money shots for us this year. His old man was on the board, I remember he went after Walkon and it got a little heated...

Figured when Kenney left, he would go since they were buds from AAU.

I think both Gill and Ray were good players, but Gill will be missed the most. His upside was greater. Ray's a good glue guy, but his offense is a little lacking. Best of luck to both of them.

Ray was our leading rebounder. He was key in a couple of wins for us with his rebounds and put-backs, and he played pretty smart defense. He also had some leadership qualities that not everyone on the team had from what I saw of him directing other players on the court at stoppages. I think we will miss him more than we think.

Anwar was the reason we win when we did. Unfortunately ash didn’t play him consistently. Don’t blame him. If he works on a shot and finishing better, he will be highly dangerous.
All the DC guys Johnson got us inroads to have left. Ash apparently could not coexist
Gill Tegra Kenney Ayinde
Hopefully Ash can join them through a coach portal.

Kyle Thompson is on the list. I don't think we need to start a separate thread tho.
The TP list nationwide, grows by the hour.

I agree with 23won every DC player play under Coach Ash transferring. Now every High School and AAU coach informing their player don’t attend Lasalle to play under Coach Ash. This program regress since Coach Ash became HC. I hope Gill find a home that will develop his skill set. Best of luck Gill.

I don't know if anyone already posted this, but Taylor Funk from St. Joseph's just appeared on the transfer portal about an hour ago.

Played hard, But was tough to watch offensively. I don’t think this is much of a loss. I wish him well, like all those that have been a part of our program.

Stats speak otherwise in every way- and if you watch games Christian does so many things that a stat sheet doesn’t record. No comparison.

Stats speak otherwise in every way- and if you watch games Christian does so many things that a stat sheet doesn’t record. No comparison. no comparison. lol. still with the hard-on about anwar. out of any of the players, gill was negatively impacted the most by his head coach. yo-yoing him in and out of the lineup, sitting him some games, having him play 35 minutes in others, not having an offensive scheme with spacing which would have opened up the floor for players like him, brickus, clark and brantley. but gill still continued to defend and play as hard as anyone on the team despite all that. ray was a solid player for la salle but don't act like gill didn't contribute anywhere near what ray did. ray played eight more minutes a game and gill's overall statistics were better than ray's. second on the team in assists, assist/turnover ratio, steals and blocks. he averaged 1/2 point less than ray in eight less minutes per game. he shot better from three and from the line. yeah, the stats speak otherwise.

I would be interested to see who Dunph wants back. Other than Moore and Clark, I would assume the rest are not getting much better offers.
How many of the others guys does he think can help him win. Gill He thinks can help.

Was one I was hoping would stay me too. he's a maximum effort and team first guy. can't have enough of them. and i truly think people underrate him. dunph said in the latest article that defense is a focus, and anwar is probably the best overall defender on the team.

I am pumped for this. As you know, I've been a fan of his play. Highly productive in the +/- department and in our wins, and yet despite this Ash played him minutes-wise in a head-scratching fashion.
Really hope Brantley and Moore return, too. Clark would be a nice return too, but I'm not getting my hopes up on Jack if he's spent some time in ACC country already.

Ray’s a Senior to be academic all star. Transferring credits is a pain in the ass. A lot simpler to come back where he’s known and appreciated.
