Heard that LaSalle is recruiting Muhamid Ali Zawer Zacari(?) from Central Catholic HS in Allenton Pa. Heard he is 6'5" and is averaging close to 30 a game. Heard VCU and a few other A10 schools looking at him. Does anyone know anything?

12/1- Lasalle (sic) University hosted the LVBR #1 overall prospect Muhammad Ali Abdur-Rahkman for their overtime victory over Villanova. www.lvbasketballrankings.com/recruiting-updates/Dunph, Bruiser, Frankentelli, among others (Shaka, Bo, Jay, JTIII, Amaker, Larry Brown) also on the trail... www.recruitrecon.com/index.php?option=com_recruit&task=showplayerprofile&id=1386From July 2012: Muhammad-Ali Abdur Rahkman - 2014 6'4 Combo Guard from Allentown Central Catholic (PA) A low-key, under the radar guard with Blue Chips AAU, Abdur Rahkman is drawing a lot of attention around the east coast. Abdur Rahkman can get to the basket, as well as drive and kick. With good size and the ability to defend multiple positions on the court, he has the opportunity to play at a higher level than most would assume. He needs to gain a solid foundation in his jumper and play harder without the rock in his possession. Offers from Delaware and Houston are on the table to go along with interest from SMU, Temple, Xavier and Wisconsin. He has visited the Philadelphia and Madison campus as the Owls and Badgers are standing out to the Pennsylvania native thus far. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1381084The first quarter of the LVC showdown between Allentown Central Catholic and Parkland. With their big man in foul trouble Central's 2014 Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman (#5 green) scores 15 of his team's 20 points in the first quarter. Video is from RCN4's telecast on 1/29/13.

Kid looks good. Could help us. Reminds me more of a G/F type. He looks smooth and seems to let the game come to him. I have no idea what his grades are. I also heard he is 19 or 20. I started LaSalle at 17.

I work the clock for all the Emmaus home games. Have seen Abdur-Rahkman plenty of times (season, playoffs, summer league, etc.) He is legitimate. Been averaging 20 or close to since his freshmen year.
Did not shoot extremely yesterday vs. Emmaus, but with the game on the line, down 1 with 8.7 seconds left, the kid drove hit his shot, was fouled and won the game. Team is on a 15 game winning streak since last losing to Emmaus a while back.
I like this kid better than Hilliard (Nova via Liberty H.S.). He has poise and leadership qualities.
Would be a good get for G.
