Here's an article in the Inquirer about the summer camp Traci's started for inner city kids to get away for a little bit. Traci started it after his brother was killed last summer outside of a rec center in Southwest Philly. What an awesome way to give back and to do something to help people's lives. Also, his quote at the end of the article is really telling and puts in perspective what a lot of Philly kids have to live with -- as well as a lot of other college players who come from rough neighborhoods around the country. After it’s all over, don’t look for the former Hawk to return home. Carter plans to stay in Connecticut because, he said, “if I go back to Philly, I’m either going to get killed or go to jail.”Traci Carter's Camp

Much love for Traci in helping out the inner city kids in Philadelphia. Powerful.
