Are we in the running for guys that go to and play at Big East and Big 10 schools? And the other looks fine but it’s not like he’s some world beater.
My argument is that we should be getting the best of the mid-tier local kids and build that way. And I think that’s what Ash is doing.

I'd take the non world-beater here as someone who could step in and start and contribute in the A10. Maybe we should start targeting some of those guys with some playing experience at the JUCO level who have developed a bit physically.

Based on Ash's remarks at the zoom call last night, he seems to be very pumped up about how solid we are going to be next year. I did have to jump in and out of the call because grandfather duties but I heard Coach say something regarding the transfer portal like: I don't know if anybody is trying to recruit our players on not? I hope we can hold on to everybody & that we can practice through the summer so that we get off to a jump start next year. This group has some talent. Not shooting the messenger here...but damn it feels like we say this every year...."next year will be our year". VCU and UMass have freshmen and sophomore -laden teams and are competing. If we aren't competing with them now, what makes us think we can compete with them next year?

Tbh, I think we should start targeting five star recruits because that will make us better.

Until there's open recruiting off rosters, I'll look at transfers as a huge benefit to us.

We have 4-5 guys that need to play with a stud which we don’t currently have.
