Even if our sub-.500 team is minus 2-3 key players?

Even if our sub-.500 team is minus 2-3 key players? Injuries or not it will be sad and panic if we lost to the Hawks. They also have injuries and turned over their roster. La Salle should win this game.

I have not A CLUE who will prevail in this one. No idea whatsoever.

It looks like the only guy they're missing has only played 7 games all year, so we can call him Clark. Down Croswell, down Spencer, possibly down or affected Deas ... I won't panic.

2 weeks ago I was looking forward to this game. Thought we would pound St Joes again in this rematch. Saw a definite talent gap with us on top. I thought Ed and Shaggy can own them on O. Daly is a player, I expect he will always get his. I am amazed how often he beats his man on his first step (quick and deceptive). But he is one guy. Our freshmen were heads above what they put on the floor from what I observed other than Daly.
I still think we have greater talent but We have now been weakened. I am no longer confident about this one at all. Thinking it will come down to which team brings the more consistent execution. It is a big game for us, a gut check.

You are the biggest apologist I have ever encountered. If it works for you have at it.

You referred to a loss tomorrow, potentially without 4(?) of our top 5 preseason talents, as a sad and panic event. I'm good with being "not like that".

Is it objective because we have an injury to Spencer? La Salle still should win the game in my opinion. Same team beat St. Bonaventure last week who is light years better than the Hawks. Yeah, if you are okay with a loss tomorrow you are an apologist.

What would your sad panic look like?

Hawks can make 3s at home. We have had droughts scoring. B-ball is a game of momentum. If they grab an early lead and we struggle making shots we will have problems winning. If we keep it close and grind them down defensively I will feel better but we have to score the ball and establish a lead.
I’d go with Beatty, Phiri, Deas, Kenney and JK. If Scott is able, I would start him over Kenney
