I may be reading to far into things here but I wouldn't be shocked if Jack Clark returns tonight. The Men's Basketball instagram account had him shooting with the caption "Coming Soon" before the URI game and now today he is the headliner on the post for tonight's game. Again just a hunch but I wouldn't be shocked.

Basketball Twitter page also has a picture of Clark. Would be nice to see as he offers us some skills we don't have enough of.

I don't know the ins and outs of eligibility. I know you have X number of years to play etc. If this doesn't hurt him from a time standpoint then I'm all for it. If he loses a year for just a half a year and he could recoup it later, then I say sit him.

I believe you have 6 years to play 4. That would mean Clark would have the rest of this year as a redshirt if he wanted it but perhaps he just wants to start playing?

There are exceptions made for injuries that create a 6 year scenario, but they might not want to risk the "he could have played last 10 games of this season and since he didnt, it's a year of eligibility.

don't make the same mistake twice. it's too soon. his second operation was may or june. i'd much rather have him 100% healthy for 3 full seasons. i don't see him getting a medical redshirt for last season. he was under the allowable game limit but the second part of the rule says you can't play in a game during the second half of the season. he played one game in the second half of last season.

Right. Jack Clark the person isn't required to care about Jack Clark the La Salle basketball program asset. Beyond scholarships that are conditioned on a freshman year redshirt, a healthy kid should be allowed to play if he chooses.

I don't disagree that ultimately the decision is his alone; selfishly, as a fan, I'd like to see him have as long a career as possible at La Salle. With that being said, I hope he's back to 100% when he steps on the floor, for his sake.

I don't believe Ash would let him play unless his Doctors say he is 100%. Ash cares about his kids and isn't under any pressure to win now. I think Clark's been cleared and Ash is okay with letting the young man play.

Now if it was me coming back after acl surgery it would be more like 7 years for full recovery and even then I could only aspire to play as well as Pete the Mortgage Guy.

If we win the A10 Conference Tourney this year because he came back now that'd be worth it too!

i just find it hard to believe that he'd be 100% around 7 months after his second acl surgery. In a full two minutes of googling, I can’t find anything that says he had a 2nd ACL surgery. Can’t imagine he’d be back now if he did have another reconstruction.

www.rotowire.com/cbasketball/player.php?id=12941Out another season
November 14, 2019 Clark will miss the entire 2019-20 season due to the knee injury that cut his freshman year short after just nine games, Josh Verlin of FCS Athletics reports. ANALYSIS
Clark initially suffered what has now been reported to be a torn ACL early in his freshman season, but was originally expected to be ready to begin 2019-20. Instead he has suffered a setback, as there was a recovery complication due to a recent growth sport. That complication is expected to sideline Clark another full season, but La Salle expects him to be back to 100 percent for the 2020-2021 campaign.

He’s wearing dress pants in warmups. He’s not playing.

This site has injury reports for college basketball. Not sure how often it is updated, but it does list Clark as out for the season, and Diagne and Kimbrough as Questionable for Saturday against VCU. sportsdata.usatoday.com/basketball/ncaab/injuries
