His list of offers out of high school was incredible. Originally committed to Syracuse and then somehow ended up at WKU
Last year went 2-17 from the field in very limited action for the Hilltopers.
6-9 and 240lb is certainly some beef inside but not sure how skilled he is as a basketball player. Hope he’s a huge addition to the roster we weren’t expecting but I think those odds are not likely.
Good find

I think he is a body. We are relatively small and he can spell our regulars when in foul trouble or God forbid and injury.
He can eat space in the middle.

G was on him early....as usual.
If he can give us 7-8 minutes with 1-2 rebounds a game as a backup to Ed and Jared, he is fine. Insurance policy.
I look at his stats and wonder why he thinks he's a 3 pt shooter? Yet only 3 FTA's for career.

Reminds me of Garvin Hunt. Raw but very highly recruited out of high school. Very low expectations, but if he can provide just a little bit, even just make the younger guys better in practice, it's a net gain I suppose.

He will be a excellent locker room and practice guy..A very good veteran voice on and off the court..He will help the young bigs with prepping and talking on the court...

A bit perplexed by this signing. With 4 bigs (Croswell, Kimbrough, Stone, and now Diagne), I only see one out there on the floor at any time. I don't think he'll see ANY PT unless Ash plans to utilize 2 bigs on the floor. But I don't see it. Good insurance in the event of an injury, I guess.

I think he is exactly what most of us think he is. An insurance policy should someone get hurt and he seems like a great kid that could help our young bigs in different areas. We had a scholarship to give which we will get back next year so there is no downside unless he was a malcontent. He seems to be the opposite of that. A kid everyone loves to be around.

Not a ton of the time, but there will be games where we'll see more of it than other games. He's certainly not going to see the floor a lot, but it sounds like he's a net positive for the team.

I think Stone will be a stretch four that could play with Croswell.

All good until someone local is looking to transfer mid-year and there's no scholarship for him. The board will be fun then.

I think Stone will be a stretch four that could play with Croswell. Agree with this. I get the impression that his game is more face the basket and he can compliment a post player to give us some additional size. Guess we'll see.

Don’t see the downside. Ash gets to run practice sets with two bigs playing against two bigs. That will help in games where we face opponents with two bigs. URI, SLU, Dayton and the Bonnies specifically come to mind. If we are better prepared and can take win(s) against any of those four that will be a big plus.

I am guessing it is because he is not yet on campus and officially enrolled. Looks like grad classes start next week

Moves better than I expected. At least in high school.
