The three stars of the game? Duren for controlling the floor, Galloway for scoring a boatload of points and Zack for great D and sweeping the boards.

OK i am convinced. This is one of the greatest weeks in La Salle basketball history in the past 40 years. Truth is how often would a team in the A10 even have the chance to play a team in the top ten and three days later play a team in the top twenty and beat both. This is a rare accomplishment and a great testament to how good a team they have become. Play good basketball (7-3) the remiander of the season and we are NCAA Tourny bound

And didn't need the 3. 4-13 30% 20-38 2's. You attack a pressure defense/weak in the half court, they run around.

OMG, all the torture I have endured over the past 20 years is magically fading from memory.
Congrats to all my fellow Explorer fans, Coach G and this team. Enjoy every second of it!!!!!!

Am I too old to be this excited about a basketball game? Congrats to all of us for hanging in there long enough to enjoy this.

When u see our name on selection Sunday I will be making the trip. Can u say road trip? Getting texts from the guys that went last time we danced. As 88 said we have suffered for a long time. I will not pass up this opportunity. Oh yeah guys please keep on winning so this becomes a reality!

Glorydays I agree that this is sweeter than Butler. Road win in a hostile environment . Great defense and Zack with 11 boards.

I liked Butler better. That was the legitimizer, this was the icing. Going 3-4 in this current stretch is pretty unreal.

I'd have to say this was happiest I've been as a La Salle fan since that Bron Holland shot dropped through against Manhattan in Albany 21 years ago.
Glad Steve Lappas got to witness them both

I liked Butler better. That was the legitimizer, this was the icing. Going 3-4 in this current stretch is pretty unreal. I thought we had a shot to beat Butler at home. I thought we had no shot tonight at VCU. That is why this is bigger to me. (Maybe I am being influenced by the Vegas Lines.)

VCU at full strength on the road vs. Butler at home without Rotnei Clarke... Another vote for glorydays.

This is 100% bigger than Butler. I'd gladly take either (or both), but this was a team at full strength on a court it never loses on.
We got people's attention with Butler win. Now, with more eyes on us, on national TV, with everyone watching because the other games were blowouts, we won somewhere that 99.9% of the teams in BCS Conference would be dogs in. How sweet it is!

Sure, but if we lose to Butler, this almost became a must win. Butler locked in a good stretch, this capped it.

Just got back from the bar, where I ruined everyone's night by screaming for the Explos (can't imagine many people in New Haven, CT cared much). Our guards were just the right group to break their hand-checking pressure defense. Just take care of our business the rest of the way; it's looking good right now.
