Good morning,
We haven't really gone over this since we've been on this board, but there was a post this morning when I checked the board that's causing me to bring this up now. When citing an article, from ESPN, CBS Sportsline, etc. DO NOT copy and paste the entire article on to the board. Post a brief summary, or the first paragraph, or a specific section, and then link to it. For one, this helps other people find the source article, and also avoids any copyright issues.
This may seem like an overly strict protocol, but I've been on message boards where ESPN, CBS, newspapers, etc. have threatened legal action due to people repeatedly copying and pasting entire articles. True, they were much bigger message boards than this, but it's still not something we should be in the habit of.
Posting of paid information (ie ESPN Insider articles) is an even more pronounced problem, as that is specifically subscription material. Any repeated infractions of doing this (more than once really), and I'll have to take action.
