Why didn't we recruit Sam Sessoms who was 2nd on the PA scoring list (Arcidiacono was 3rd) but only committed to Binghamton??? I think because they knew they couldn't compete with Binghamton's gym. They have seats behind the basket.

Apparently no one else recruited him because Binghamton was his only D1 offer when he committed last fall (before he became the state's second leading scorer). He is under 6'. He could be the next Fatty Russell or the next Johnny Shuler.

Yes. He might just not be able to keep pace with A10 or bigger guys. Might not have any sense of defense. Could be selfish. Could be personality. The best scorers aren't always the best players or best teammates. Nurideen Lindsey ring a bell?

He played in the PCL which is one of the best in the country. Those other guys did not. Competition in some of the suburban leagues can be awful

G is really looking at grad transfers and normal transfers this spring. I have seen 4 different players he has reached out to that are transfers:
Evan Daniels ‏ Verified account @evandaniels 47m47 minutes ago More Maine transfer Aaron Calixte has heard from Oklahoma, Arizona, Missouri, St. Bonaventure, Ole Miss, DePaul, Temple, Grand Canyon & La Salle. Averaged 16.9 PPG last season.

Just wondering...How is Calixte eligible if he's already logged significant minutes in 4 seasons at Maine?

5 games as a junior seems like a redshirt.

Not thrilled to hear we are looking at an undersized 5'11 guard when we have two up and coming talented guards cued up for next year- unless someone is leaving. If Powell comes back, we have three 4 star guards in house. G should be looking at mobile forwards who can rebound and shoot.

He might be 5-11 and from Maine but Oklahoma's Lon Krueger thought enough of him that he flew in for a home visit. He will be a tough get.
This is silly season with these 5th year guys. You will see starters from low major schools that an Oklahoma would never consider playing get the royal treatment from them. What's the pecking order for us when a 5-11 guard from Maine gets in-home visit from Oklahoma?

My guy Max Zegarowski (6'7" Tilton School) is still available. Little known fact = Max and his twin brother Marcus are the younger siblings of Michael Carter-Williams.

Good move on G's part. The kid brings a skill set that we've lacked the past few years (a 3 pt. shooter)

Here's the link to his Twitter account. Watch the short video (March 14th post)if you scroll down a bit. Its an in-bounds pass with him shooting a 3. The kid can shoot. 6'3" tall. He scored 51 points against Lower Merion recently in a playoff game. Yikes! He could be the re-incarnation of Downtown Freddie Brown. twitter.com/chrisarch15?lang=en

The kid brings a skill set that we've lacked the past few years (a 3 pt. shooter) Actually, Jordan was 4th in A-10 in 3s just two seasons ago (then 9th on a much deeper team the next year). If history is any predictor, this board would be super hard on the next perimeter shooter we get if he's out there missing 60% or more!

If he is 70% of the player his brother is then he is worth it. I don’t know him or know anything about his personality but I am going to assume he is a solid hard working young man who has a big upside. He could end up being a diamond in the rough if he keeps developing his skill set. I hope G likes what he sees and brings him on board.

Not very complicated. Just offer and lock him down before somebody beats you to him and you regret it.
Is this a bigger risk than
Dusan Yvgen Cian Rohan Johnny Amar ?
I can go on but the answer is no.
