Trying to convince a minority that the bumbling that our president did for 80m today hurts the country is exhausting.
Other counties are literally laughing at us.

Trying to convince a minority that the bumbling that our president did for 80m today hurts the country is exhausting. Other counties are literally laughing at us. Gimme a break. The rest of the world has its own problems. Far worse than where we are. Obama fooled more people than Trump ever will.

But people didn't laugh at Obama. It's as if Trump is funny. Like a clown. Like I give a crap about that? I care more about a great economy, strong military, low unemployment, tamping down tensions with North Korea, stopping America from paying for all of these countries and their free rides, exposing the corruption in Washington of which all of the Obama cabinet was involved with we are finding out. Ending the free lunches. I love it. Everyone should care about those things rather than what Trump is saying. Obama lied to say the right things and did all the wrong things. Trump is closing in on Brennan, Comey, Clapper, Yates, Lynch, McCabe, and others. Eventually it will lead to Obama. And I am supposed to accept how Obama portrayed himself to others instead of how Trump? No way.

Yeah this thing was dead, not sure why we needed to kick the beehive.
But yeah, if you can listen to that man's press conference yesterday and honestly tell me you believe his brain is functioning properly, then you're too far gone to even converse with. You could be the most Conservative guy in the world, or support every piece of his agenda, you still have to admit he's not mentally well.

Kicked the beehive because if someone is going to be on this pro-Republican nonsense they shouldn't get to hide away when its at its most disgusting.

I think the funniest, from a dark humor perspective, of this whole garbage pit of an administration is how a lot of people love Trump because of his anti-elitism. That is not even considering his own garbage family's inherited wealth.
Steve "LEADER OF THE POPULIST UPRISING" Bannon worked for Goldman Sachs and was a producer of Seinfeld.
Steve Miller was a rich kid who went to Duke. I'm certain that dude is stopping in Rust Belt cities en route from DC to his hometown in oceanfront California.
The cabinet is filled with one-percenter cons like a friggin' Amway saleswoman.
His Supreme Court nominations BOTH went to the same DC prep high school before moving on to Ivy League colleges. And Brett Kavanaugh-types grew up the worst people in the world. He's an entitled rich kid able to skirt through life and do things like "sexually assaulted peers" and "bragged with friends about sleeping with a friend (even though he really didn't)." They are as elite as it gets in this world.
They are all garbage people.

Specifically on Kavanaugh:
I understand that the Supreme Court is mostly about timing. It's a lifetime position and we will never know when someone will pass away or decide to hang it up. And since who controls Congress and the presidency (Obama had both chambers for a while, too) is very fluid, sometimes the court is going to lean a way I don't agree with politically. But that's how the Constitution was written and we have a very organized and well-run judiciary. It's not perfect by any means. But it works for the most part.
But Kavanaugh should not be anywhere near this bench. I absolutely believe Dr. Ford. I don't believe Brett.
If Brett came out and said something that equated to: "I drank a lot when I was in high school and college. I didn't always act immaturely. I deny doing this to Dr. Ford. But if my actions when I was younger did hurt other people, I can only apologize for my actions. I'm now a grown man with children. With time and maturity, I know and understand how the actions of someone when they are a teenager or in their early 20s can affect someone for the rest of their lives. None of us are perfect, especially at that age, and I hope that I can change the culture that allows the damages to Dr. Ford to happen."
I think I would be comfortable with that apology. And I talked about this to my wife and a few of our female friends -- all very strong and very liberal -- and they all agreed.
But this guy is denying being a prep school brat booze-hound. It's like... no, dude, you were. And you are denying a bunch of stuff you wrote in your yearbook that you wrote to try and look cool with your friends. You're talking about your notoriously weak stomach that couldn't hold down any food at Ocean City, MD. Come on with that.
And you said you got into Yale on your own with no connections at all. I think "Georgetown Prep" gets you ahead of the line into the Yale admissions office a lot more than even a middle-class suburban high school, let alone one from the inner city.
This guy is a lying scumbag who would rather "fight" to impress President Garbage than to promote an honest discussion about his merits on the court. There are any number of judges in various appellate courts who any conservative would be fine with that most likely won't lie about their past so blatantly.

Ford collaborated none of the events and he collaborated all of his. Even her friend can’t collaborate her story.
I believe something may have happened to her by someone but you have to bring evidence.
The Democrats had the letter and never shared it. Not with any Republicans, not with the judge when they interviewed him and also broke her trust by leaking it. All of it could have been investigated behind closed doors by the committee but the Democrats purposely wanted to blow it up just before the vote. All of it was a sham and was calculated.
Democrats have no shame.
Ford also has a million bucks in her Go Fund Me account. I am sure Soros is behind a lot of this he just funnels cash for the next move by the Democrats.

Come on now. It's hard to say anyone corroborated his story - a handful of people said, "I don't remember that." Which, I'm guessing they probably don't, if they weren't in the room and she didn't tell them what happened. Questioning Mark Judge might have been a start if GOP Senators were interested in actually finding out what did or did not happen. What they opted for was a piece of political theater - have a woman ask her questions that can be extrapolated into a grand unified conspiracy theory for those so inclined, without attacking her like Anita Hill, and lash out in his testimony in a way that claims that the real victims of sexual violence are the men who get accused.
I'm not sure what Democrats not sharing it matters. If a person claiming to be a victim of sexual violence asks for anonymity, you honor that until they say otherwise. Not doing that would be wildly inappropriate and invasive. It's a question of basic decency. But sure, Soros... Clinton... the "left." Say Peter Stzrok and I'll have bingo.

Was caught in conflicting statements. If she had evidence and collaboration I would say let him rot in jail. However, she could not do that and I will never support someone’s life could be ruined by accusations just because they don’t like his political beliefs or think he is the deciding vote to overturn Roe vs Wade. She is a supposed PhD but sounded like a 15 year old who couldn’t remember anything even she did last week. She may have had something happen to her but it is critical to prove the right person who may had did something to her.

You're extrapolating again - assuming motive for an accusation. But your doubts seem to be based on an assumption that she should remember every detail of the entire day, before, during, and after the attack. That isn't how memory works, even around serious trauma. She acknowledged that reality, he categorically denied because he remembers everything and that didn't happen.
I'm not sure what the conflicting statements are. What conflicting statements? What were the conflicting parts? I honestly don't see it. There is not physical evidence for this, not now. So in the absence of non-attacker witnesses that don't seem to exist, I'm not sure what she can do except give her story and ask for a substantive cross examination of Kavanaugh and Judge, which the GOP has refused to do, because conspiracies, Clinton, Soros, etc.
But saying "something may have happened but it definitely wasn't Brett Kavanaugh," is a cop out. If you think she's a liar, don't couch it in pretending to take her story seriously. I think Kavanaugh lied about so many things in his hearings - receiving documents stolen from Democrats, materials in previous hearings, whether or not he drank heavily, the meaning of words, etc. Why should I trust his word?

I guess there can be an intellectually honest case for "we don't know enough yet," though I'd argue that that's more about the difficulty of proving sexual assault cases and that it requires a more substantive investigation, rather than a sharply limited one-week inquiry. There is not an intellectually honest case for "she's lying and this is a political hit," unless you start from the point of grand conspiracy theories.

She may have had something happen to her but it is critical to prove the right person who may had did something to her. This is especially appalling thing to say, although im going to give you benefit of doubt. People who experience sexual trauma at a young age oftentimes have voices that “stay” at the age as they get older. So if her voice sounds like a 15 year old girl’s voice, maybe it’s because she had something traumatic happen to her around that age? I have no idea what happened at a party in Maryland in 1982. I don’t like the guy and don’t want him anywhere near the court for how rulings will hurt vulnerable people for decades to come. But this “maybe something happened to her, but it wasn’t him” is now what the Right is left with because she was so compelling and believable that they can’t call her a liar. And what they all really believe: “Even if he did it we don’t care” is not politically viable.

I can’t imagine living a life where I attack a rape victim for the way she sounds. Classic comment. This is what it's all about, you hear what you want to hear or see, she never said she was raped...…………..then again she can't remember too much about the whole night to begin with (gee, it was "only" 36 years ago) It's a circus, going through HS yearbooks? (New job requirement, lets see whats in yours-pre social media days) Push come to shove...………...file charges in MD, I don't think there is a statue of limitations. Delay, delay, delay,...……..our whole government is a farce. Hey, that Barrett woman maybe more Conservative than Kavanaugh. Ya think, maybe it's "sweeps" month for TV?
