I know it's an odd discussion to have early in the season but I didn't think of Ramon as an NBA player last year but his range has been unreal this year. Seeing this tweet got me thinking, what does everyone think Ramon will do next year+:
"@franfraschilla: LaSalle's Ramon Galloway is one of those guys that goes D-League/Europe for two years and winds up on Spurs or Thunder. Watch."
I've described him as the A-10's James Harden. He's a pitbull on defense, has range, can get to the rim on a consistent basis at a high level of college play and can also pass. If Gary Neal has a good role in the league, than Ramon could find a spot. Also, he could definitely win the dunk contest.
I'd have to disagree. Gary is a much better shooter than Galloway, not as good defensively (as Galloway though). I just don't see Galloway as an NBA player...but hey, it'd be nice if he does become one.
Let's see how he plays against top level teams. Yes, he's been on a nice run but we really haven't played anyone good yet. Let's see how he plays against Bucknell, Miami, and the big boys in the A10.

Assuming he's a legit 6'3, range (although from a low release point) plus really good defense seems like the kind of guy who ends up getting to the league as an 8th/9th man.

Regardless of what happens Ramon Galloway is going to make good money playing basketball. He will be able to support his family more than most doing something he loves to do. I am happy for him. He could have taken another road in his life given the things he has faced in his life.
If you ever had a chance to meet Ramon you will quickly see Ramon "gets it". He knows what gets people to listen to him and respect him. More importantly he knows how to make other people enjoy being around him. He will do well no matter comes his way.

Every pro team has a truckload of players who can shoot. What separates the good teams from bad teams is having a lage number of players who can stop the other team from shooting and scoring. Is Ramon there yet?
Eh. If shooters are a dime a dozen, how did a pretty athletic dude like Rasual make a decade long career out of being a shooter?
The same way your street rep went up 100 in a day?
Rasual was more than just an open shooter, though. You don't give him enough credit. There are many different aspects of his game that are far above average.

That was me. I was having some fun with people getting upset over karma. I put it back to a more reasonable figure. Hopefully that restores balance to the world.
