What are the thoughts on Philly U tonight? G always seems to get a pretty good team in here for these exhibitions, Carleton last couple years and Philly U this year, and I believe 3 years ago. Herb Magee took his team to James Madison and won, and they just lost to Pittsburgh in a surprisingly close game. Looking at the numbers, they really only play 5 guys, but they have 5 good ones. Should be interesting, especially in preparing for a Colgate team that shoots the ball like Philly U.

This is a legit game for the squad if you ask me. They are good enough to play at the D1 level. I expect the sky to be falling after the Explorers pull out a 12 point victory tonight after trailing early in the game because of some hot shooting - Jerrell and Steve will eventually find their way and force Phily U to get to the bench because Philly U won't be able to guard those guys for 40 minutes without fouling.

Its our first no-win, "worst game of the season" of the season. Feels like just yesterday we were wrapping up 2013-14.

Excited to listen to the game tonight, more for what it symbolizes than for what it is. I don't want them to lose, but beyond that it's really all just a practice.
First game thread of the year later tonight, and I'm sure I'll be posting the clip of Apollo Creed's manager from Rocky 4 screaming "This is supposed to be AN EXHIBITION!"

Definitely exciting to see such a new era, of sorts, starting their careers at 20th and Olney. Hopefully another special group.
