Any thoughts or insight on expected attendance? The Ok State game a couple years back had a decent turnout, I have to think at least a few PSU alums will come out simply because its local, but no idea.
I'm very curious about the student turnout- I think joe Fed has a sibling on campus, not sure if Nova win did anything

PSU has buses coming. They advertised this game very early to their students. Also a ton of PSU alum in the area. La Salle students need to show up.

I was at the OK State game. Good crowd, but excruciating loss. Still not sure if I'm headed to the game Wednesday. Are tickets still available?

My guess on attenndence is the following; With PSU fans 4500+. LaSalle only (without PSU fans) approx. 3000. Students need to make the committment and show thier support. I hope I am wrong on my prediction about our fan support. Would love to see 6000+ screaming LaSalle fans in the building. My wife and I will be there.

Why is the game at 9pm? For TV?

If this was a Saturday game I would expect the 4,500+ LU fans, but being a Wednesday night makes it a little mroe challenging. However, the students should be able to come out in force. It's the week before finals so there isn't nearly as much to worry about in terms of class work, it's a 9PM tip so the last bus is probably leaving about 8:15-8:30 which should make ducking out of night class at the break no problem whatsoever.

Not making an excuse if turnout is bad, but in my time at school (which was 5+ years ago now....wow) but the 2 weeks before Finals is usually where you have the most work. At least one paper for every class, and all that. Again, not an excuse, but just wanted to respond to Luhoopsfan's post.

clearly you were a better student than me...and that wouldn't be surprising. I never understood how people didn't have time to take a 3 or 4 hour break over the course of a week though.

No, that I totally agree with. If anything, you need a break.

I thought the crowd was respectable given that it was a weeknight game that started after 9. Students did a pretty good job of filling the place up.

I always forget how loud the Palestra is. The place was far from packed but sounded like a sell out. The students really brought. I also am happy they have embraced the Seven Nation Army chant, since it sounds pretty awesome and I am a huge White Stripes fan.
On a side note, I hung out last night with someone I am friends with who works on campus and knows a few students. There is nary a bad word to say about anyone on the team right now. They are all super nice kids who also go to class.
I really love this team.
