if the team continues to win, that CCSU loss becomes a smaller piece of the pie and has less and less of an impact. Would be valuable to us if Nova beats Temple and Temple beats Duke this week. Ina ddition, the Selection committee does factor in situations like player availability so if Garland appears to have a significant impact on our team it could eliminate the concern for CCSU all together. My mantra all along has been just win the next game. Winning takes care of everything, attendance, TV coverage, perception, RPI and post season appearances. Would be tremendous to go 9-1 in the OOC, but excruciating at the same time knowing that the CCSU game was a total dud.

The Miami game is going to be a big game. Especially if we go into the game with only 1 L, and it will be Garland's first game with the 'splorers. But we still have some work to do and can't afford any letdowns like the CCSU game.

Garland's first game with the team will hopefully be against Bucknell on December 15th (and that is going to be a tough game). But reality is we have to make sure we win our next game. Can NOT lay an egg against Penn State tomorrow.

how is WVU relevant?
Good to see CCSU coming up in the RPI....though their win against us is clearly helping them.

Yeah, I guess I want them to do well from here out, to make our loss seem a little less galling on our resume.
