Maybe the Rider win was better than people think. At worst, this helps La Salle's RPI.

All the love for Drexel, both national and local, was perplexing. Never understood how they were rated above the A-10 teams in the city.

Drexel and UMass love was perplexing to me. UDel getting smacked by Duke right now but they were in the game with TU all night last week. CCSU continues to be a terrible loss but UDel and Rider may turn out to be better wins than at first glance. Nova is up in the air right now, we will see how things go against Vandy.

Drexel was a very legitimate team but seemingly the whole roster got hurt.
I do think Rider's a solid win.
I forgot we play Iona this year. That game is going to be really good. Iona's a really good team.

On another note, what exactly is happening to St. Joe's today? Not saying they should be favored or anything at Creighton, but it's 45-20 nearing halftime.

Creighton has arguably the best player in the country and has an excellent supporting cast and is one of the toughest teams at home in the country.
St. Joe's is a very good team but for some reason are regarded as the best team in the A-10 when they're probably not.

I have no doubt that Creighton is the better team, but I still think the Hawks are better than this (though I wouldn't mind if they aren't).

Creighton is also the 11th ranked team and Saint Joe's is nowhere near top 25 caliber.
I get concerned when it appears that lesser teams win because they took time to advance scout. Does G do enough advance scouting of the teams he puts on the schedule?

I wish we were playing Creighton next! Good time to make a statement.

Well, Creighton had just come off an embarrassing loss to Boise St., so they were an angry and motivated bunch. St. Joes had little chance.
Concerning Drexel, they deserved the hype they got. They have the talent, but Bruiser Flint is NOT a good head coach. He costs the team 2 or 3 games a year cause he can't control his emotions. Also, the fact that Chris Fouch is gone for the year doesn't help either.

Creighton is solid, loss to Boise or not. McDermott is lights out, and I remember watching Echenique when I was at Rutgers prior to him transferring—he's a solid force in the post.

... UMass love was perplexing to me ... Not me. Chaz is great and the rest of the team is long as hell but inconsistent. Watching them you get the feeling the result is far more dependent on how they're playing that day than anything else.
