I love the uniform. Very sharp.
Looks like the early 80's La Salle jersey. Ghost of Larry Koretz.

Will they also be bringing back the '80's "short shorts"?

I need a big one too- but I am only 3xl. Maybe we need a diet competition and winner gets a free LSU coffee cup-no, too expensive- one of those free LSU water bottles!

I love the uniform. Very sharp. Looks like the early 80's La Salle jersey. Ghost of Larry Koretz. According to La Salle Athletics Facebook page, they are modeled after the uniforms worn by the 23-1, #2 ranked 1968-69 team ... my all-time favorite!

Not to break stride here but these uniforms are absolutely great. I would have my wife by me one as my Christmas gift and be thrilled. I will be inquiring as to how I can get my hands on one and report back, unless someone already has asked

They don't look like the 68-69 team. Lettering looks different to me but maybe that is just me. Regardless, the uniform is sweet.

I agree. Closer to what Steve Black and Truck Butts wore. If the shorts are true throw backs, the players will refuse to take the court.

That was my favorite La Salle team of all time. Durrett was IMO the best La Salle player I ever saw (never saw Gola play) and Bobby Fields was my favorite Explorer of all time. Defensively, I see some Bobby in Ramon Galloway. Hate to use the word "if" again, but if Durrett doesn't get hurt, that team could have made a legitimate Final Four run. They beat two (Nova and Western Kentucky) of that year's Final Four. That was a perfect example of a team where the sum was greater than it's parts. Durrett, Fields, and Skyman were the stars, and Cannon, Kennedy, and Walsh were role players who did the dirty work.

Loved that team as well KJ; expectations were not that high since the 69-70 season was not all that successful and we had a new coach. The 73-69 win over Nova, without Durrett, remains my all time favorite La Salle Big Five game.
