He is kind of aging out at this point. I kind of like the guy. He is flaky as all get out. The Marymount success probably added 25 years to his career. Seems like only yesterday....was it Craig Littlepage at Cheltenham HS??

No, it was Philly's own Bo Kimble and ( the late ) Hank Gathers.

Where is Westhead Warrior with a tribute! I deleted the account I was going to come on and simply like it. That handle will now remain dead.

No, it was Philly's own Bo Kimble and ( the late ) Hank Gathers. I am talking about the 27-28 year old Westhead as a HS coach in the 1960's. The Marymount gig came a quarter of a century later. (...and I may be wrong on the Cheltenham thing....)

Not sure if Littlepage played for him though. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Westhead"Cheltenham and La Salle[edit] Westhead started his coaching career at Cheltenham High School in suburban Philadelphia; in 1968, he coached the Panthers to a loss in the Pennsylvania state championship.[1] One of his players at Cheltenham was future University of Virginia Athletic Director Craig Littlepage.[2] Westhead coached the La Salle University men's basketball team starting in 1970. Westhead led the Explorers to one NIT and two NCAA tournament appearances." The fact that I remembered this proves that I need to get a real life.
