Yea sorry we'll be lucky to win 1 game in the conference tournament. Kills me to say that but this season just needs to be put out of its misery This captures my sentiments. For some odd reason I had a spurt of hope going into the Fordham game. I had visions of us regrouping establishing a better level of play and competitiveness and finishing out the regular season strong. The team is obviously flawed, they do not have this in them. I do not believe it was for want of trying. You could certainly see guys trying to step up and at times guys did. But as a team the cohesion and consistent execution just wasn't there like last year. Maybe the anemic offensive output and production just sucked the life out of the team. In my mind when the offense goes south you can always play good defense. Not this team, certainly not with any real consistency. Anyway, this St. Joe's game on the calendar for this weekend looms there like a root canal or colonoscopy appointment, just like the "good old days" of La Salle basketball.

All logic points to us losing to Joes and being one and done. Season over and no post season. But being a LaSalle fan we can't take the wounded animal behind the barn and put it out of its misery. We must sit with it and nurture it until it makes a miraculous recovery or dies a slow painful death. So hang in there for another week. That being said maybe they should retire Ramon's jersey. How the F*ck do we suck this bad?

The only way you can tell yourself there's success left in this team is a scenario where G just says "Fuck it, most of you are facing the fact that every night is your final college basketball game, go nuts" and somehow some magic happens. Sad part is at times it feels like this is how they've played anyway so I got nothing.

G must let JW play the entire game regardless of foul count. Btw does anyone know how many games he fouled out of? G must tell TG to STOP shooting the 3. He looks like a student they bring out at halftime trying to win a semester of free books. At one point I paused the G Mason game and all five of our players were either beyond the 3 point like or right inside of it. That happens way to much. What offense doesn't put anybody down low. Have Sam and Garland drive in and kick out if there is no shot. I know we don't have shooter but TD is good or maybe just tell them to draw the foul. Dj has no arc on the ball. He need to work with Jameer Nelson. Or not. When we run the fast break TD can't drive UNDER the basket. He did it like 4 or five times and hit the bottom of the rim. Still think Dunn needs to play more. He can shoot. That analysis on the other thread proves it. I would rather have him in there a little more. What do we have to lose? Anyway if things go as they have gone we lose by 20 today and one and done on tourny. We need to keep analyzing Til the end. Sort of like when a team calls time out down 15 with 30 seconds to go.

Still think we will win A-10. We are a very good team-just have played some lousy ball. Perhaps too much looking ahead AND looking behind. In Brooklyn, we will be able to focus on task at hand.Do not be afraid to lose-just play to win. Lets be LASALLE PROUD. Last year-selection show Sunday-whether u were w me on campus or at a bar or at home-you had tears in your eyes when our name was called. You believed in the TEAM and the TEAM believed in themselves. Thus, put aside the negativity and the bad karma and Lets Go Explorers!. We Fight Hard, We Fight Well, When We Fight We Fight Like L-A-S-A-L-L-E-LASALLE. LaSalle yesterday; LaSalle today; LaSalle -tomorrow and LaSalle Forever! Screamer Believes!

I have absolutely no interest in being a Pollyanna. I hope they win 11 games in a row and a National Title. But I've seen nothing to suggest this team is anything other than mediocre. I think they can win Thursady, but that's the sum total of my expectations.

I think they can win Thursady, but that's the sum total of my expectations. I am all about the positive attitude. I am legit unable to use the word disappointing anymore. However, I have the same expectations it will be close one with the Bonnie's. If we win it gets interesting. I am not nearly as nervous as I was a couple weeks ago playing SLU. Rumor has it Evans and Jett are a little beat up and I wouldn't be surprised if they are more concerned with the NCAA then the A10 tourney they won last year. Beat them I believe we play either UMass or GW. If by some miracle we win that we could play VCU in the finals. Not a bad scenario. Just want to steer clear of UMass and SJU if at all possible.

Screamer gets the optimist award. If he believes I will support him and believe as well. Why not. I am not going to bet my paycheck on it but I will be positive. I think we have to win today and get some momentum heading into the A10. G should bring in a hypnotist or a sports psychologist who can improve your shooting. Use visualization where you see it going in. Hey "IN" worked for JW last year. Someone call Cousin Bern for an emergency house call.

Dr. G can bring in fellow sports psychologist Dr. Bob Rotella. He transitioned the mental game o shooting to golf an helped some of our days greatest champions break through the limits that they had within themselves. "Putting out of your mind" was his legendary golf/sports psych/ just good book and reading it will improve the performance for 100% of players. Jerrel's "in" quote tells me that he may be on the path. I felt all year (and still do screamer) that we had a great team that they ad a hard time getting "out of their own way".
Dr. Bob Rotella will lower your handicap by 4 this year and his advice all comes from his experience with coaching basketball, could be our ticket to the a10 tournament. Need to train it, trust it and pull the trigger.

Need JW and TD to play like men. JW stepped it up at St Joes. TD controlled the tempo and made the clutch free throws. If our shots can start falling... And we have been waiting all year for this... But if they can start.. We can go on a run in this tourny. There isn't any team that we flat out can't beat. But we need to be at our best to do it. Ok boys. This is your chance to make up for the season!!!

I said it before... if La Salle lost today, we stood no chance.
With the win, I feel better about our prospects - but we still got to outlast 12 other teams.
...okay, 11 other teams - no way Fordham has a prayer. They are there for the Wednesday night "showcase" and will be back on campus before they even see teams #1-11 show up in town.

Watched highlights of the Boise St game. We shot 63%. Best of the season. We need another shooting performance like that. We looked so in sync. TG was incredible. Defense was tight. Played as a team. We need to get hot. Every single player has to elevate his game.
