Every year we do the same thing. Get a little buzz going and then have the gut punch home loss. Need a win over Nova but who knows what to expect

I'll be at the Nova game but to tell you the truth it's hard for me to get overly excited. There's too many question marks right now, and the fact of the matter is we're snakebit against them. Hoping for the best.

The team has not created a buzz with their play and subpar recruiting period hasn't given us much.to get excited about. A chance to turn things around tomorrow.

I think the silence on this board has more to do with Thanksgiving weekend than it does with our play. The old board was traditionally much more active when things were going poorly or there were things to complain about.

Given what I have seen of our play so far, it is hard to be very confident. Then again Villanova has not set the world on fire either.

just a horrible day to schedule a big game. Too early in the season for a city rivalry game as well.
Just hope that we come out the victors. 3.5 pt favorite. I'd like to see a 10+ pt win today just to get the fan confidence back. Hopefully SCREAMER will do his best to get the crowd going today. Can't really afford 2 early home losses right now.
Tell you what though...the A10 is going to be really tough this year. VCU, Butler, Joe's, Temple, X, Charlotte, STL...Fortunately, Garland will be around for those games. Should be real interesting once the A10 games begin...

If the administration wanted to create some buzz then why not schedule the team in a holiday tournament? Academics? It sure was great seeing VCU, Xavier and Charlotte this weekend. Even Drexel got into the action. You gotta play and win games to generate buzz. A lot of teams out there already played 5+ games.

Another way to create buzz, I heard, is to not lose to awful little directional schools. (Sorry, I've been out of the country and this was my first chance to complain about it).

1-The timing stinks but If you're given a national TV opportunity you take it. 2- as for Holiday tournaments you need to be invited, the school doesn't determine where to play and the one they had planned to be a part of in Las Vegas at Christmas fell apart late in the summer and nothing was available. You also don't want to play in a thanksgiving tourney when you know Garland isn't available. 3- It takes two to tango as they say and Nova has to be willing and available. Mid-December would have been great but if Nova isn't available then it's kind of hard to play them. 4- just win the effing game today and no one will care how many people came.

Scrfeamer would b e more effective if we did not have blaring commercials durinTOs or bottle races or trivia contest so one can win a water bottle. Some loud fans sit with me; just cant compete w loudspeaker. Looking forward to Palestra games. Too, it would help if cheerleaders were on floor during TOs LEADING cheers instead of waving pom poms while commercials drone on. Thus, Screamer and other alumni could join in without fighting the loudspeaker/P.A.
