I highly doubt this will happen but, in light of how the season has gone thus far, during this week off, I would take this time to go back to the style of play we used so successfully the last two years i.e. I would go back to emphasizing the drive and dish and impress upon the guards to go back to shooting the 3 point shot whenever open and available. I would "unleash" T. Garland and give him every oppurtunity to create his own offense. In other words, I would try to win the remaining games by out scoring teams rather than stressing defense which is not our strong suit to start with. I think there have been games this year when the score was close in the second half where we spread the court much too early and played "not to lose" rather than playing to win. I would give maximum minutes to the starters and DJ (who I would also encourage to shoot more). Since all of these players are familiar with this style from previous years it should be no major problem to bring it back for the rest of the season. We have obviously not had the success we hoped using the current style so why not try what worked before since we have virtually all the same players.

The most success we had was last year when Zack was injured. Should we bench Zack?! This is a different year and a different team. We will see what kind of heart they have down the stretch. Win the A10 tourney and you are in.

Every time Zack leaves the floor we take a step back. Don't ever consider benching Zack even though I think you were just making a point.
Garland needs to be on a leash. He isn't a disciplined player and takes ill advised shots. He shouldn't be shooting threes whatsoever. Driving to the basket and using his speed is what he does best.
I don't think they need to reevaluate too much what they are doing. They played two fantastic games against VCU and SLU. Now there schedule lightens up a bit and we get to kill the hawk at home. Excellent confidence boaster IMO.
We can beat Dayton. Huge advantage for us inside and they don't play great D.
Richmond lost its best player, another game we can win.
However lets just think one game at a time.
Keep the faith!

\I would try to win the remaining games by out scoring teams rather than stressing defense which is not our strong suit to start with. Our defense has actually been significantly better than our offense this season, mostly due to horrendous shooting.

Offense comes and goes. Defense can keep you and any game. It would be nice to score like last year but the dynamics and players are different. Ramon's presence gave the other guys opportunities. His outside shooting and the ability to draw two defenders to him has not been replaced.
