If this was mentioned previously I apologize. Does anyone know who the very tall young men sitting midcourt in W3 were? Roberts and Price came into the stands at halftime to talk to them. The one kid looked to be about 6'10". Recruits?

The player you were referring too is the Greek youngster from Westtown School. He is closer to 7-1. He was there with his fellow Greek teammate who is 6-9. Another player was there who was also 6-10 on the student side. Bayonne NJ Marist HS had their entire team at the game. Word was that Traci Carter '15 PG from Life Center NJ was there.
I think Bobby Johnson was sitting with Lionel Simmons yesterday.

To bad we didn't win and rush the court. Those players would have signed on the spot. I read that Penn St landed every single recruit who attended that triple OT win over Michigan in football this year. The one recruit said it was a life changing experience. I guess G goes back to the if you were here we would have won line . Or the one he gave Duren about other teams want you but WE NEED YOU!!!

Wouldn't happen(signing on the spot) because the main targets were Class of 2015.

Hopefully the big fella can be shown video of Zack struggling against Richmond as freshman to see how much he has been able to develop at La Salle

I have seen him play. He is much more athletic than Steve (not a slight towards Steve) but needs strength (which will come). What I loved about him was that he is a big man in the true sense. Doesn't practice 3 pointers like Aaric did but spends most of the warm ups practicing his FT shooting. He is far ahead of Steve when he was a FR right now.
Also a great teammate. When he leaves the game, he goes down the bench and slaps hands with every player before taking some water and his seat. Cheers loudly for the other guys. He looks like a real nice kid but a tiger once he steps on the court. His teammates really seem to look up to him (no pun intended).

looks like has an 8-10 foot shot facing the basket and could develop one out to 12-15 feet. JW and Zack don't.

Biggest thing holding Steve Zack back from the next level, he needs to develop a 12 foot jumper in the off season. He truly has progressed into a NBA prospect (which is a big step from when he came in). Teams couldn't play zone against us this year, if he had one. Next year other teams probably can't play zone besides of the size and shooting ability of the guards sitting out this year. If by some miracle, he was able to develop a 20 footer; the offense would be so difficult to stop as the help defender couldn't drop deep and challenge the driving guard which has been the biggest difference in terms of offensive production, the lack of finishing ability around the rim. Zack receives the ball a lot with 5 feet of space and passes out.
