1) G let's Jerrell out of the dog house, throws away the leash and lets him go into Beast mode.
2) G doesn't yo-yo Jerrell back and forth from the bench to the scorer's table at all. Nothing breaks down confidence like the head coach playing yo-yo sub games wotih a player 30 times in a game (like the VCU game) looking for the optimal offense defense switch.
3) G lets Jerrell play with 2 fouls late in the second half, 3 fouls in the first 10 minutes of the second half, and 4 fouls in the last 10 minutes of the second half.
The flip side of 1-3) have been happening far too much this year. BTW, when 1-3 did not happen in the NCAA tourney last year(when Zack was hurt and G had no alternative), I think we did pretty well. Oh yeah, and Jerrell broke a tourney record that may never be broken.
4) Khalid gets more PT. Love his defensive pressure. Love how he runs the point and creates scoring opps for Reek and Ty on the wing.
5) Rohan gets rewarded with more minutes and plays like he did against VCU.
6) Zack shuts down Larsen like he did last game.
7) Khalid, DJ and Sam shut down Creek and Garino from the perimeter
8) Our backcourt D extends out and provides pressure at times to wreak "havoc" on MacDonald, who should be undermanned without Savage
9) Sam finds a rhythm for 3 "3s"
10) Tom Brennan buys a winning DC lottery ticket, and since he is on company business is required to "split" it with the school, for a new arena.
