Who Am I?
I average 18.4 PPG, 7.9 RBG, 2.1 APG and I shoot 52.7% from the field for a 5-2 team.
That's Christian Stanhardinger, his second straight great year in a row for Hawaii.
I'm past What-If's after last season. But man, I sure would have loved to have him.

I maintain he was just getting to know the local culture. After hours. In a dark secluded park. With his pants down.

I'm not sure where else to put this but Steve Weingarten is doing really well for the Delaware 87ers. Over six games, he's averaging 11 PPG, 46% shooting, 5 boards and almost 25 minutes per game. That's really impressive. Did he get any time overseas?

Totally. Next woman I meet who isn't a huge NBDL fan will be the first. Was more going shooting for La Salle girls still talking about Steve years later, but I'll be trying the D League inspired pick-up line this weekend. Will report back.

DiVincenzo narrowed his list to six schools around ten days ago and La Salle was not on it. Only local school still in the running is Nova, unless he's had a change of heart since then.

There is a rumor that it is down to Syracuse and Nova. (The kid still has the rest of this year and his senior year.) I hope to catch a couple of DE HS Bball games over the next few months. The kid is getting a lot of attention for somebody that plays at a DE HS. Some say he compares favorably to Trevor Cooney. Time will tell.

Glorydays, I was there last night and G was in the house. I had a chance to talk with him at halftime. Was looking at Donte D. but also mentioned that a 6'4" soph guard from Judge impressed him.G said it would be tough to get Donte, unless he wants to stay close to home. I was proudly wearing my LaSalle gear and told the kid we really want him. I mentioned to G that he was the only coach in attendence and he corrected me that an assistant from Vanderbuilt was also in the house. Still if Villanova wants him so bad where is Jay? G was also happy with the week off. Alot of the small nagging, unreported injuries were healing and he feels good going into Sunday. LETS GO EXPLORERS!!!

Thanks for the report, Delsu. I will get to 5-6 Big S ballgames this year. Good to see our alma mater have a basketball prospect. Football remains king at the Big S.

Malachi Richardson 6-6 '15 from Trenton Catholic makes his announcement today at 2:30. Nova might lead the group of Syracuse, Indiana, Rutgers, Arizona and UCONN. Will make Donte's decision interesting. From what I hear, Donte can flat out shoot the 3. God knows we could use someone like that...especially this year. If memory serves me correct but I believe G was one of the first to offer a scholarship.
I also find it interesting that speculation is that G is looking at bringing in a couple of front court players to fill in the spots for Wright and Zack. The fact that G was in DE on a cold night in mid-December to see a couple of guards is fascinating.

Good dig Delsu. If by some miracle we land DiVincenzo despite nothing in the world indicating we have a shot in the dark, I'm going to credit you. If we don't land him... Well, then it's all your fault

I have been blamed for far worse then this. I get the sense that G just doesn't give up easily. As stated earlier in this thread, I spoke with G at halftime of the Salesianum v Father Judge game and had a very good conversation. I mentioned I was at the Garden on Saturday and said what a difference 15 minutes makes. I was referring to the halftime break in the LaSalle v Stoney Brook game. I said I bet you ripped some butts at halftime because I saw a horrible first performance and a totally different team in the second half. He hinted he got a little intense in the looker room and again thinks his teams offensive production( i.e. perimeter shooting problems) should be a thing of the past. Lets hope so.

Tomorrow's Coaches vs. Cancer HS tournament at Cheltenham HS has 130pm match up (weather permitting I assume) between Salesianum and Archbishop Carroll ( 6-10 Ernest Aflakpui a La Salle target and All-World Derrick Jones).

Wonder what B.J. Johnson thinks?

Jellybean Johnson never belonged at Syrupcuse and only question is does he leave after this season or waste another season with Blowheim. His father should have recognized his talent level and guided him in the right direction but no he had to go big time and learn the hard way. Expect to see him transfer after this season.

Not sure if this is the right spot but kudos to Boston U for winning AT Maryland. La Salle was very much interested in PG Maurice Watson Jr and Dominic Morris. D J Irving and Travis Robinson are other Philly guys on the team. Congrats to the Terriers.
Watson was very small in HS. Started as a HS FR at 5-3. Now he is a college SO listed at 5-10 160. Dom Morris has a body built by Pillsbury but sure knows the game. He is listed at 6-7 230. G said all the kid does is win games for you.

We are overmatched physically in this game. We have to shoot well and Miami needs to shoot poorly to win this game.

We must run on this team. Our half court offense is ineffective.
